Went to the lake yesterday to meet my clients at 6:45 am. I really didn't want to book this trip in the first place since a major front moved in with a brisk north wind and the air temp was 28 degrees without the wind chill.  These guys are regular repeats and insisted on one last trip for the year. When I pulled in at the launch it was still dark. Another boat pulled up while I was getting ready for the launch.

They came over and we shot da :censored:  for a while and that's when I noticed that all the cross boards were removed from the large pier. When the other guys noticed it also they said they weren't going to chance it. Then left with their boat.

Those were my exact feelings but, had to explain it to my clients. Shortly after my guys showed up. After seeing first hand they agreed it was a wash. They offered my some gas money and I said not to worry about it just call me in the spring. So, after spending $10.00 for suckers.....$36.00 for the trip gas and 3 hrs. round trip driving I decided it's over for this year.

This is a very sad time for me every year!    Therefore I request a moment of silence.
