Well the contest is coming to a close.  The leader board is updated. Less than an inch separated 1st and second place.  Less than 2 inches separate 1st and 3rd.  With the walleye and pike season closed for most of us this may be the end.  Once again Wildlife and his team find themselves on top.   I wish I could say I had a 15 inch crappie spot to hit for this last week but I don't.  :banghead:

   Only a few hours to go.  Unless someone is on the ice now and pulls a Hail Mary out at the last minute this contest is over. (Remember the fish must be in season). I want to thank my fellow judges and all the participants for making this winter go by fast.  Every participant in this contest that posted a legal fish will get some tackle from ATIjigs.  It could be a buzz bait, a spinner bait some ice flies.  You won't know until you get them.  None will be the same.  Start making plans for the fresh water challenge that we be starting in May.   :happy1: :happy1:

Happy anniversary Dakids!! :toast: It looks like your team has a good chance to win the  :Photography: bonus point prize.  I have not decided what that will be yet.  It will be nice though.  I really want to reward the extra effort of taking nice pictures.

Anyone that entered a fish even if It was not scored will get the prize package.  Glenn57 entered a real nice pike that we could not score.  I have said many times catching the fish is just part of the challenge.  The  :Photography: can sometimes be the hardest part.  Lentz had a real nice pike we could not score as well.

Just hope you are not on Wildlifes team this summer.  He was getting a little heavy for his partners this last challenge.   :rotflmao:

Well boy's the leader board is getting tight. It will take 60"+ to get to the top 5.  The inches will come tough now.  Team Wildlife Crushers have crushed  our way to the top. We find it nice there and have no intentions of doing a "Strike master" free fall down the leader board. You guys can  training-087 it out for 2nd and 3rd.   :whistling:

Now I fine This funny  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: are you eating your words  ;D

dakids Is that a 5" panfish or a 15" With that  :Photography: it hard to tell, As it been said before the  :Photography: is the hard part of this challenge, It nice if when one take a  :Photography: of your fish on top of the tape to leave the next number after the tail so one could judge the  :Photography: your  :Photography: to a sample  :Photography:

So we will see how the judges score or not score,  :coffee:

One would think a panfish is not to hard to get in more of the tape in the  :Photography: , then a 40" pike

I don't think you can buy a lighter that is half an inch long. And if you could how would I write mno ice on it.   Pic was with a cell phone and not good lighting.  If you think I'm cheating I would have posted my buddies 39.5 inch pike or my kids mid 30's pike.  I have had bad luck with pics this year and wanted to get a close enough pic so the judges could read MNO/ICE.

Hay, I did not say you was cheating,  I was just pointing out that I could not read the tape, By the way you did not say if it was a 5" or a 15" So how I call you a cheater  :whistling:

get a close enough pic so the judges could read MNO/ICE.

True But they all so have to be able to read the tape,  Rules Not My rule  But the challenge rules 5. All fish must be photographed along side a clearly visible outstretched tape measure (Fish board recommended) and must include the staple item. :coffee:

If The Judges pass your  :Photography: which at this point has not been Judge  I will be the first to tell Nice well done to you and your team,,,,  :happy1:

It all so been said cell phone do not always do a good job,,,,, But then Who lesson,

Just a quick question here Wild. Could you tell us straight up? Do you think that fish is in the 5 inch range or the 15 inch range?

Would like to know up front. 5 or 15? Forget about the Obama type of non- answer answer :whistling:

You can take side on you want but you thou is all it is,,, technical that why you have judges, rule,   If you use a fish board you have to see the more of the tape at the end so it can be judge, I know I use a fish board all the time and have lost fish on this same point Been their done that,  :doah:

Thanks wildlife.  I released the fish to grow bigger for next year.  The crappie has to be smaller than 12 inches to get fried in my house or bigger than my kids 16 inchers to go on my wall.

I will be looking into buying a nicer camera when I get off of workmans comp and get back to work.  5 more weeks of therepy and I should be back to work.

For the record I not happy with the judges!!!!  training-087 :police: I would take my case to a higher judge if I could fine one!!!!!

It's hard being a target.  :archery:

Lee I want to thanks for turning your pet mice into my portable fish house now I have lots of peak holes and cold air that come in.  :cold:

Lentz I know it was you who messed with my carburetor on my new strike master augur half a tank gas to drill one hole before die.

dakids thanks for the -22 cold dances that had my holes freezing up as fast as I could drill. If I cannot get a line down then I can’t catch fish to pull up. :cold:

Corn 13 for the 17 inches of snow you sent me with my two todays off ice fishing planned ended up shoveling snow for three days.  :snow5:

Glenn 57 for ordering so much fur. That kept me busy in the shop. But them for you to have a score 0  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

DDS them Jigs that had painted on them (it’s a trick) and no shiny blade.  :doah:

With all the optical that were placed in my path we The Strike Master's ended in 2st place  ;)

I would like to thank my team mates their not like some other formal champion ship winters that can't post a fish a whole season. Lee  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I want to go out on top like Elway did.  I plan on retiring because I don't want to hang on to long like Brett Favre, Emmit smith, and oh ya Wildlife.  Thanks again to DDS and the other judges.  I might be willing to take a position in management next year if the salary is high enough.  I am open to a total benefit package as apposed to just a high pay. Use of the company jet or boat would be good.
