OK I have shack allmost done but, power inverters what size should I get and how many deep cycles bat. should I get? just be running small tv and dvd player or lap top?
also I'm trying to figure out how long the bat. will last before recharge needed

i use two batteries for the weekend, but my power lights, and forced air furnace.  1100 watt inverter here. but honda 2000 gen running when tv on.

If you are going to buy batteries and inverters you would likely be better off with a suitcase generator. Maybe have a deep cycle hooked up to the 12 volt lights and a solar charger to keep topped off during the week.
If you go with multiple batteries check how much your accessories draw and add up to get a figure for how much battery power you need.
