Fishing this week has been fantastic. Walleyes and saugers are being caught in14 - 18' mornings and evenings and 20 - 26' during the day.   40+ fish per house common . There is 7 to 11"of ice on 4 mile bay and 8 - 13" on Zippel Bay.  Lake ice is averaging around 11 inches where resorts are fishing, however, there are some spots that still have 5 inches so please use a resort.

Up at the NW Angle, there is 12 to 14" in most areas. Like every year, there are spots with thin ice where there is current so please, again, use a resort. Fishing is incredible for walleyes with 40+ fish per house.

Jigging with gold or glow red spoon or jig in one hole, dead stick with a bobber in the other hole.
