With highs in the low 20s, how much ice do you think we are putting on the lakes?

As a rule of thumb Ive been told if the lows get below zero, the lake will make an inch per night. A lot of factors affect this such as size and depth of the lake.

I'd also say it would depend how much snow is covering the lake too.

With all the rain that we got about a week ago, all the lakes in this area are pretty much bare.

It is supposed to be really windy tomorrow so that should help put on a little extra ice.
