I bought a wheelhouse this weekend and lookinf for opinions on Generators.

Like Honda vs generac vs Yamaha or ant others you might have out there. Looking at the 2000 watt size house id also camper so it may run a AC unit during the summer months.

I am looking for all thoughts need to make right choice.

i have honda 2000, can't go wrong.  also get the gas cap(little red gas cap) and an extra 5 gallon tank, put it in the back of your truck and run for 4 days.  otherwise, you'll have to top off before you go to bed and fill in the morning.

The 2000 is not enough to run air conditioning but is enough to run a coffee maker unlike the 1000. There are charts available online for your usage and what size you need. Hondas are good units and yamaha are just as good and from what I understand they are also more quiet than honda especially after break in.  I will someday get a Yamaha 2000 for charging batteries only as I hate the sound of generators and have no need for television or forced air furnace on the ice. The less noise you produce the more fish you catch.

I have a Honda 2000 and i wouldn't buy anything else.  For ac you will need a 3000 unit at least
