Well it was a pretty good ice season for me this year for pike and walleye.  The big pond was good to me so far.  Many 24-26 inch eyes and several limits of jumbo perch.  My pike spot produced for my kids and dad but when it was my turn to set the hook they were mostly just eaters with no giants.  32 incher was my best.  Dad got his biggest pike ever with a 37 incher and my daughter hooked and caught a 36 incher all by herself.  I also got a nice surprise this morning. A 35 inch tiger.

Now we chase the slab crappies.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
