New Massachusetts Bill Could Allow Animal Rights Activists to Sue Hunters

  :coffee: ..........
A bill introduced by Massachusetts State Senator Mark Montigny (D- New Bedford) could open the door for private lawsuits for suspected animal cruelty. According to the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA), Senate Bill 767 would grant private citizens to sue pet owners, farmers and possibly even hunters for perceived ill-treatment. The bill is one of several others filed that The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) calls a clarification of current laws. Other legislation involves guidelines for veterinarians, dog trainers and trappers.

“Under this bill, animal rights activists would be able to sue anyone – including sportsmen, farmers, and dog owners – whenever and wherever they think animal cruelty is being committed,” said USSA Government Affairs director Evan Heusinkveld. “This could force sportsmen and women who have done nothing wrong to spend thousands of dollars to defend themselves against animal rights zealots looking to take them to court.”

Sportsmen who train hunting dogs are believed to be especially at risk under the provisions of the bill. The use of a shock collar and tethering may be grounds for a lawsuit, says the USSA. Don't forget fishing.  The rich Humane Society of America and PETA will have a grand old time.  The courts will be full of nut jobs suing families because the family pet is on a leash or in a kennel.  Hunting will be a thing of the past.  Farmers will no longer be allowed to have cattle because the milk machines suck to hard.  I could go on and on. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I now feel much better.  Going to get my fishing stuff ready for tommorrow.  Going to impale a minnow on a hook so I can catch a fish to be released into grease. :fishing2:

The humane society will come in on you like the bureau of ATF. I was sitting in the barbers chair when they came in full force to the next door business that is a pet groomer. An elderly lady dropped a cat on the groomer saying she could no longer handle it. The groomer protested saying she was not that type of place but the lady insisted and left. The groomer knowing alot of cat lovers found a home the next day for the feline which for some reason died the following day. The newly deceased cat owner contacted the radical animal humane society claiming the animal must have been abused. The officials showed up with their suburbans and cordoned off the area allowing no one to pass or ask questions because of the official status they hold. One of the humane society goofs ordered the barber back into his business for asking what was going on and told him he was obstructing the legal process for asking. The humane society Hitler militia had multiple trucks and special jackets to identify them. Ultimately the autopsy revealed no abuse but proved the humane society is a bunch of nut jobs.
