2013 MNO Fishing Challenge Smackdown

  Anyone in the challenge that has not posted a fish should do so if they have one.  Posting a legal fish is the only way to get into the prize drawing.  The fish does not have to be an upgrade.   

Hence the reason I helped out a teammate.  Plus I'm sure Boar wanted to show everyone he's still out giving it the old College try.  Lee feel free to grab Borgie's bat and hit yourself with it a few more times.  It's hard to smack those that do it to themselves.

I have failed my team "The Invaders". I started with the bass early on which Lee easily beat. Didn't bother posting any walleyes because I knew Lee would beat any I put up. Was banking on getting a large pike this fall. Didn't happen. With as much as the lake has dropped this year my boat has been stuck on the lift since the beginning of September. Kept hoping for some rain, which eventually came but to little to late. The lake did come back up about 3 inches this past week but not nearly enough to float my boat. I have a large nylon rope and a come-along that I am going to try and drag the boat off of the lift with tomorrow and take the boat out of the lake.

One of the esteemed members of the "Boom Goes The Lodge" team has tried to enter an Illegal fish. I won't disclose who it was but, actually it's easily distinguishable by the looks of the fish.

  It appears that Team "Boom Goes the Dynamite"  lead by Robert Bass aka "BB" have delivered a TNT charge directly to the "Invaders" firmly knocking them in 2nd to last place.      Is it possible for the Invaders to sink any lower with two weeks to go?

I saw snow showers in the forecast this weekend up here in NoDak. Looks like Fawk and I will be bundled up and freezing our  moon 

   These boys know enough to head the storm warnings.  They know that their teams final position depends on the next two weeks.  Team " Ultimate Storm" has 3 full days of fishing planned before this contest is over.  Big fish are out there for the guys or gals willing to go get them.   If you are done we will wave as we go by.     Prepare to

That's what I've been saying a lot lately. Unfortunately Mother Nature has been saying "hang it up old timer" I'll just have to see if we can get a break from the cold, wind, & rain. Last year they took the dock out early and I drove up to da lake fur nutin. Don't want that to happen again.

    Team "Ultimate Storm" would like to take this last opportunity to issue a Sever Storm Warning.  This  fishing challenge not over.  It  is about to get blown wide open.  Cower in your basements one more week.  It will be safe to come out Sunday night.  You won't have to wave your white flags anymore.  I'm pretty sure your arms are getting tired anyways.  It's always fun and games until someone gets hurt.  We, the "Ultimate Storm,  are about to launch a blitzkrieg of hurt later this week.  Take cover.   The  can of whoop  that will be opened will be of epic proportions.  This will be the last storm warning in this contest.  Don't say I didn't warn you.

On one of your earlier posts, I thought you referred to the Assassins as being the team of 1,000 excuses when we explained that Cody's boat and mine had been tied up for a few months, and his 20+ Bass had been DQ'd on a technicality!

   Lee, cut TGO some slack.  Even if his partners fish was not DQed he still would be in 2nd place for now.  You have to remember that the only sheep that matters to TGO is the one that got away.  It is much harder for  TGO to deal with when as a very young man  he was being pulled off the love of life  by his boy scout, rodeo clown, retired priest.      I have stooped to the miners level.
