2013 MNO Fishing Challenge Smackdown

  The teams will be in multiples of 3.   If we get 30 entrants we have ten teams.  If we have 32 entrants we are left with 2 alternates.  If you choose to wait until the last minute you have a better chance to being an alternate.  No sign, no play.  

    My mistake    There are no alternates in the summer challenge.  Never has been, never will be as long as one person can post all 3 fish.  Sign up early to guarantee your chance to be in the challenge.  

That sounds like some  .  So a guy signs up with good intentions, has a tornado hit his house and fly his boat away, then can't help his team, lets the challenge community know the situation and he can no longer participate, team is left to suffer.  What is the fun in that for the other 2 members of that team? Great Rules  Where was all the hub bub when Cody was allowed to do this in the ice challenge.  The rules were exactly the same in regards to signing up etc.  In regards to the 2 fish comment well there were still 2 members on the team so they could have still posted all 3 fish so one person being able to post all 3 fish makes an argument of nothing.  If each member of the team could only post ONE fish in the ice challenge then you would have made a point of letting Cody join that team.

     With one team member being able to post all 3 fish, a tornado could blow both of his teammate's homes to munchkin land and the team still would be able to compete.  The ice challenge is a different entity all together.      

     The best thing to do is put on the big girl panties and see if someone on your team has the strength to carry you into the top ten.

Sorry DDS but I just like giving the judges a hard time.  It's cool I just wanted to try and help someone who had a couple of teammates who for one reason or another did nothing to help the team in any way so in the future we don't keep losing good challenge members for the same reasons I and others I know quit the challenge.  I figured if we had a guy who was willing to jump in and help out it would be good.  But oh well see ya all at the next rules committee meeting

Looking at the thread I see General would like to be an alternate. Maybe he could just be my guide.

Now that I can't be an alternate I'm thinking about the guiding business.  However usually my guiding gets a little off track at the nearest tavern.

Hence the tavern comment    However when I do make it to the lake I always catch fish.  Just like the time I out fished you on Minnewaska and the countless times I've out fished DDS every time we've gone out together.  I have a tougher time dumbing down my posts here for you to understand them then anything I do in life.

I also think you should add a new category in your useless fish facts.  Most times referring to the team as "I" and "Me" you for sure would be the king and the only record here that could never be broken

    While we are working at winning the challenge you will always be able to find the General at the bar.  His new favorite place for forbidden alternates is adorned with Micheal Jackson pics and serves a Jerry Sandusky signature drink.  Enter if you dare.  If you throw the Generals name around a little you may be able to try on his Liza Minnelli dress and shoes.  It does't matter if  you are scared, chicken or just plain undecided.  Stop in and see the General.  You too will learn how to run and hide. Evasive techniques.  That's the name of the game at the Generals bar.

       That's what I'm talking about.  We have 9 full teams.  The General is missing out on his first chance to make the top ten at this point.

A New victim has entered the ring.  for a retired guy living on a lake i have never seen so few fish posted in a challenge.  Either you have been taking fishing instructions from DDS and Willy or your lake sucks.
