Well Well, Look who just signed up for the challenge. It's Greatoutdoors! All I can say is you better hope your on Borgie's team this year. Everyone knows what a head thumping you've gotten from Borgies bat over the years. I have to warn ya that since her recent sholder injury, she's swinging the bat a lot lower lately.

I'd  recomend you wear your steel cup once the challenge starts or you'll be out of commision for the season. Just a heads up there between friends.

Yeah Lee i know how that feels.  I remember having to do the same for Bobby Bass when he was on seal team 6.  I did get tired of lying for him but i did continue to keep him from getting beat up daily, something you don't have to worry about with Borgie.

   This is a new year boy's and girls.  The fish will be bigger.  The competition will be harder.  2 members of the failed Seals team have gone back in the scrum.      To all the past champions and contestants that have given it a go,  I salute you!!  To the   before it even starts I   to the Eastwood in you.  You have truly learned that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

   It's good to see GO is out of hibernation.  In all reality you might as well head back into the cave because unless you are on my team you will be struggling to make the top 5 this year.  I have set aside a couple of days this summer to go fishing.  I think that's all it should take.

  I suggested Borgie switch to aluminum.  She says she prefers the sound of Hickory upon the noggin of The Greatoutdoors.  Lee's dome has a nice hollow ring to it. The General is still to fast running away.    Either way, the shipment is in and she is rosining up the handles in preparation of the "Great Borgie Beatdown of 2013".

Rosining up the handles of baseball bats is usually not the way it's done.  One may put Rosin on their hands first to keep them dry and prevent blisters.  What is usually done is adding some Pine Tar to the handles..............that would be the same stuff Willy puts on his hands before trying to round up the sheep.  Just send him a PM and he'll tell you where to get some.

    I will forward your tips onto Borgie.  I have a feeling it won't be in GO or BB's best interest.  I'm sure they will be happy you threw them under the bus.      Too bad they did not listen to your advice.

  Other than the new video option of scoring there are not really any changes.  Except of course the general not signing up.  I heard he started  teaching a sensitivity class to a dozen 8 year old, Irish school girls.  The pic Mrs. General sent me in one of our nightly emails, had the General looking worse than Greatoudoors when Borgie comes comes a nockin!! .

Well back after 4 days of golfing down in Lee's neck of the woods on the yearly trip.  65 - 70 degrees every day what some perfect weather.  Well now back to the smack down.  I see Bobby made a list of things he hasn't learned yet.    I see we have the judges picked and ready to roll.  I don't think they could judge a farting contest much less a fishing contest with DDS as their leader.  But DDS does keep his nose close to the hole so I'll give him that one.   I'm thinking I might start the "Smack Down Hotel & Saloon" thread........kind of a weekly synapses of the what's been going on in the fishing challenge from the point of view from the owner/bartender of the Smack Down Hotel & Saloon.  We shall see

   Good to have you back sport.  I like your idea of a Smack Down Hotel & Saloon thread.  The 2013 MNO Fishing Challenge is clearly not for everybody.  Some folks just like to mix it up.  Some are quite  content on talking about what the challengers are doing wrong.  While I see you hedging towards the latter,  I just can't quite believe you are going to like the looks of your legs shaved.     I could be wrong.
