2013 MNO Fishing Challenge Smackdown

  Good news for the "Ultimate Storm".  I had a good day today.  No pain pills needed all day.  While I am not completely recovered I feel better.  If Lee or the General had to deal with the pain I have had the last two weeks they easily would still be in intensive care.  The future looks bright for the Storm but pretty hazardous for the rest of the competition.  Back in the basement boys and girls.  The "Ultimate Storm" is about to do some damage!!!  Leaders put on your parachutes because you will be experiencing a sudden vertical drop.

We're all glad to see that your getting some relief from your back pain.  Now if you could just try to focus on not giving the rest of us a pain in the with all your storm stories and just catch some actual fish

DDS you really need to stop the hallucinations.  The skies are looking clear and sunny.  However if you could at least muster up the strength to bring the temps down a bit to get the deer moving that would be great.

DDSBYDAY  the walleye bite is hot on Leech right now!  Only I couldnt find any big redtails or creekchubs... only big fatheads... lots of slot fish....    Perch bite not good though....

Corny you should know by now a "hot bite" is still not good enough for DDS.  They would actually have to be jumping in the boat for him to land on.  Why do you think DDS can't wait for the Jumping Carp to make their way up to our lakes?  His luck though all that would happen is they jump out of the water an knock his Diet Coke out of his hand.

   If the bite is hot on Leech with minnows the fall bite is on.  The "Storm" is coming to a town near you.  No more inch at a time upgrades.  The next ones will be four or five inches at a time.  That  will be the size minnows we will be using if we can get them. Team "Ultimate Storm" will be moving on Up!! 

     Buy your batteries.  Charge up your lap tops.  Find your candles and matches.  Fill your tubs with water.  When this Storm comes through it will make Y2K, acid rain, and Global warming look like a few of the biggest man made hoaxes ever unleashed on the American People.       

    Consider yourselves warned!!  There will be no negotiation.

  I like that attitude but with the score your team is sitting at inches will be tough to get.  On Leech the bass could be upgraded .25 and the walleye maybe .75".  That would be awesome.  They are in there.  Good luck!  The weather looks good--- just a slight hint of an "Ultimate Storm" in the forecast.

It' seems to me that DDS and his crew "the what's a names" have been caught up in their own storm. Will they be able to hang on for the rest of the ride?  Or, will they be swept away in a flood of their own     .........

Looks like the weatherman will be bailing out Borgie's Death Squad, because he's predicting temps dipping into the low 20's for the Ely area, along with some snow showers later next week.
I think Borgie's an Evil Sorceress, having put a curse on Cody's Bass, his boat, and my boat which took out the machine like rhythm that the Assassins had going!!
Then again, maybe not because if she were, Lee would have been turned into a frog years ago!!

Oh how things do change

  Man, conditions from the "Ultimate Storm" were tough this weekend!!  Our team does not believe in relentlessly beating the same guy over the head time after time.  Some may say he deserves it.  Others would say that he has had enough.   We believe conditions should be the same for everybody.  I had an upgrade but it was only an inch and a half.  Not worth a lower unit and killing the fish.  They were holding tight to a rock ledge that the wind was blowing into.  I found myself back trolling forward this weekend.  That being said,  the "Ultimate Storm" is coming to a town near you.  While you are playing video games in the basement to pass time, we will be catching fish to pass you.  Two Weekends Left!!!

P.S. Could someone pick up the DDS excuse box it seems every time I move around here I'm tripping over it.  Come to think of it I bet if we put them all in a house we could have our own episode of Hoarders.

 Congrats to "Boom Goes The Lodge" on the recent downgrades posted on The Challenge board. So, the way it now pans out reflects the following results.

Due to recent downgrades posted by team captain General.

Teams points pryor to todays posting were 85.50 good for 3rd place.

Teams points after todays downgrades are  73.25  good for 5th place.


Nice going guys  Before you know it DDS and the boys will pass you up. Keep those downgrades coming guys!
