Team challenge poll- CLOSED!!

   This is a very important question.  Should at least two members of a team have to score fish in the challenge.  We did this in the ice challenge.  I think it went well and did not alter the end result (in my opinion).    This is important.  I personally like the idea.  I think it will promote meeting new fishing friends and learning experiences.  Please feel free to comment on this thread.  A decision needs to be made.  The rules committee will take the poll results and comments into consideration and come up with a final decision at the beginning of April.  Let's see where it goes.   You will only be able to vote once.  You can change your vote if the comments change your mind.  Either way it will take 3 really nice fish to win.

yes I do, This is why This is a challenge and some do not care and some have life problem, witch can give team a handicap. that takes the challenge out of it,,,,,,,

  If I remember right Lentz, if your pike would have had a better  , we could have scored it.  Your team would have been up around 3 inches.  I may be wrong but Corny would have the eye and the panfish.  You would have had the pike.  We are including  video scoring for this contest.

If you all had team mates that post a fish to help your team then I mine think on it but if you in up the team mates that you do not you stand no chance, This happen more then one think we all had them team,

There have been time we all had them we e-mail are team mates just to pick a name and get no replay back, so what make you think they going to reply back just to go fishing,

There are some time they are to far from you this can make it in possible to do,

some time thing come up may it be a life problem that can chance their planes,

It is to be a challenge,  if you want to just meet someone to just go fishing then post that and you can fine some one close to you to go,

How many folks sign up just to win prizes and don't get out fishing. There you stand without a team. A looser!
 
Couldn't this poll have waited till April 1st so we could enjoy it as a stupid April Fools joke.
 
Is this to be categorized as "everyone gets their fair share" (a shot at the top) if you earned it or not.
 
So once you've entered 2 species of quality you have to sit on the bench for the rest of the season. Frustrated
 
Maybe we should just draw the winning teams name out of a hat. This way they can take pride in their victory.

Rules committee? Why This Challenge ran very well for the first few years with little or no changes needed. Extra points for this and that, Video scoring, handicap a fishermen from catching three fish.. Ever see a basketball game or any game that matter that after you scored you could only watch? To many rules, to many people making the rules. To long making the rules to many judges judging the rules. Rule said take a picture with the entire fish in the picture with the staple item. That's it pretty simple, if ya can't do that you don't score. You can't make everyone happy and you can not accommodate everyone on every thing. The idea was to have some fun fishing, meet some new friends, you don't have to fish with them you can do it sharing e-mail or smack on the smack thread.

Just my two cents, I have a lot more I would like to say but I an sure I have already said enough. Of course I stand by the original rules, I wrote them and came up with the fishing Challenge idea. It is not my baby any more but it has surely grown up to be a problem child needing so many tweaks and changes to make the changes work. Maybe two months from now I'll log back on to see if it survived or not.

   Hook into one of 40"+ Red Lake Gators and any team you are on will be tough to beat.

It 's not a threat!!! It's how I feel, That fine you all can do what you want, If this pass I will not enter and that just ok with me, As I feel this came up just because of me, In the last two summer I have posted all three fish to take us to the top, now I not saying my team mates did not do there best, I feel this rule Is more about me then some would say,

i gotta agree with willy and lee on this. granted i didnt set the world on fire posting and entering fish. i did a boo-boo with the one i did try to enter...........lesson learned. but i did not get help nor contact from my team. and that didnt bother me.....they also have a life.

now the chances of me entering 3 fish is very possible, maybe not enough to win.......but look at what happened to me this past ice season. then why shouldnt 3 of my fish not count. i am not in it for prizes i join cause it fun to watch and see the fish people catch and most importantly to talk SMACK!!!!!!!  i be good at that.

  Although it is a close poll at this point the yes voters seem to be much more committed to their position.  Other than myself I have not heard much discussion from the no voters.  I should clarify that I did vote no but in all honesty I really don't care one way or the other.  I do think it adds a nice dynamic to a fun challenge.  It is however fun for me either way.  Keep the comment coming.  

   Video scoring is new.  It is for a selfish reason.  Scoring is a pita.  Anything that might make it easier for the judges is fine by me.  The bonus points were added to the winter challenge for this same reason. I can tell you that they will not be part of the summer challenge. I think the quality of the pictures for the most part were pretty darn good this winter.

I all so did not go after all three fish because of that rule, And in the winter I have more to do,

Like I been said before you are not going to get more people to fish with other with more rules If at all you will push people out because of them, This to be fun and simple,

The only resin I sign up for the Ice challenge under that new rule was I had three win in a row and you all would have badger me to do so, Now that I was not on the winning team last time I can walk,

Then tell me how this came up if it was not about me posting all three fish? It was not a thou before that,
