           Could ice linger through Minnesota walleye opener? :doah:




"Participants in Minnesota's principal sport are getting more insistent. How about it? Going to be any lakes open for fishing ... ?"

That passage was lifted from the Pioneer Press column of Joe Hennessy. It was published May 12, 1950, the day before the Minnesota walleye fishing opener.
