Well the wife was looking at buying a wine rack for herself.  After she told me the cost I know I can build one for A LOT less.  Figured before I find the plans on the net I'd see if any of you have built something you like, plans, things you would/wouldn't do again, etc.

Here is one I made for my wife. We call it the "Wine Log".  Stripped down chunck of Cedar with hole drilled at an angle for the bottels. Also built here wine bar there. Cost about $25 for it.

Very nice :happy1:.  I'm looking for something along the lines of holding 60 to 100 bottles.

I would have made it to hold more bottles, but Wine is to the wife what candy is to kids. Never lasts more than a day or two. I have tried stocking up on wine by buying it by the case and it's all "more wine, more to drink" LOL

you can check rockler.. or vandykes.. for a plan or even the components that would be a pain to make yourself.. there is a rockler by maplewood mall.. usually end up there when the wife and kids go shopping in the mall.

Yeah that is an idea I'm looking for, thanks guys.  That shouldn't be to hard to build just have to make it twice as high. :happy1:

Don't tell me there is no law yet that limits the capacity of those things yet.   :doah:  I think there should be a ten bottle limit.  What if a crazy broke into your house and started smashing the bottles over someones head.  If he had only ten available  thousands of school children could be saved.  :whistling:
