I feel compelled to let you's know that the bite for crappies, the real reason we go to red lake is doing very well out 6-6 1/2 miles west of the east shore on the north side.
I am hearing more reports from alot of different sources of limmits coming off the ice.
toss in a couple nice eater sized walleyes and you have a great evening of fishing ahead of you.
sounds like alot of the rental groups will be heading out that way, so try to give them some space. there is alot of water out there and my rule is the best fishing will be to the outside of the crowd anyway.
try aggasiz access or hillmans who allways maintain a good road. tough to beat hillmans.
when you are done catching your fish, slide into the west wind reort for a hamburger.
tell them jigglestick sent ya!
you'll get one of two things, a discount or my remaining bar bill from last winter ;D
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!
