Hope this isn't violating any policies.  If it is, I apologize but I wouldn't think so since this is all readily available on the internet.

Some of you might remember that I did a rather long expose on different trail cams that I own last year and I have a soft spot for the Spypoint cameras.  I'm pretty much sold that they are the best bang for the buck you can get, especially in the sub-$150 category.

Well, I am selling off 7 of my cams.  I'll be posting them on the classifieds at work tomorrow and I'm certain they will all sell by the end of the day.  Last year I posted 2 on there ... they sold within a minute and I probably had 20+ calls and emails from interested people the rest of the day.  Anyway, I was planning on replacing them with Spypoints.  I already have 3 Spypoint G4 cameras and I want to replace the others with these as well.  When I looked yesterday they were priced at $130.  I was a tad upset because last year they only cost $110.  Well I didn't pull the trigger on them yesterday and I'm glad I waited because today they went on sale on the Gander Mountain website for $99.99.  On top of that, you can enter a promotional code for $5 off every $50 spent.  I just bought 3 cameras and a beetle spin for my tackle box.  The beetle spin put me over $300 so I got $30 off with the code.  Good deal.  I got $390 worth of cameras for $270.  Oh, and the shipping is free as part of the sale.

The code is GMT5

If you're only buying one, find something cheap to put you over the $100 mark.  Since the sale price is one penny less than $100 the code will only get you $5 off (that's why I bought the beetle spin - for the extra $4...yeah, I'm a cheap b#$@!@).

I'll have my cams out next week and hopefully will be posting pics by the end of the month.

Very interesting.  Is this an on line sale only or can you get the same deal at the store?

Same deal is going on right now.  The G4 is on sale for $99.  If you buy something else for $1 to get you over $100 you can then enter the promo code GMH1003 and you'll get $20 off (plus it's free shipping!).  You now have a brand new $130 camera for $80.

The sale is for today only though.

I remember I did that last year, got my cam for $99, and it was $10 off and free shipping on all orders over $100, so I added a few Acorn smelling wicks for $1.79 and I was set.
Its a great deal - recommend it for anyone in the market for a new cam, or really anything.
