SONARPHONE by Vexilar
Hey anyone see what's coming out for Christmas this year?  Vexilar has a free app for your phone or tablet and you buy the hardware.  Looks pretty cool except the little fish icons makes it look kind of like a toy.

  How long will one of those smart phones last on a battery charge?  Will the battery go quicker running an app.like that.  I know you can plug them in to a 12 volt power source.  When my 2 yr contract is up I will be switching carriers and getting my first smart phone.  I am kind of looking forward to trying it out.

I'm sure it will use the battery up faster.  I have a Driod Razor maxx and I believe it has the longest lasting battery on the market or it did a year ago.  I can get 2-3 days out of a charge.  I'm guessing running this thing, 4-6 hours.

When looking at smart phones DDSBYDAY check out Nokia's new one with 42 Mpixel camera in it... that will take some great photos..

   Is that a typo?  42 Mpixels?   That would be some high detail photos for a cell phone. (or a regular camera for that matter).

Looks like i don't have to buy a second vexilar when the wife comes ice fishing, now she can use the FL20 and I will use my Iphone, I will definitely be one of the first to try it out.

They are also coming out with a underwater camera for ice fishing that uses your smart phone for the screen
