Daughter signed up to fish, but didn't not get out much and could not upgrade fish that were already posted, just like many others who did not score fish for their teams. As for her late signing it was to make sure a team was filled the same reason I signed up this year to make sure they were enough fishermen. As for changing the rules, I have no control of the challenge and I am just like any other member here. I go through the current person who is running the challenge with suggestions. As a matter of fact I have spoken to DDS about adding a Master Division to the open water Challenge next season so one fishermen can post in all three categories. He has taken it under advisement. So yes the challenge can change and grow and it has nothing to do with you. Rock Bass Challenge was an idea between me and Great Outdoors and that is not under our control either and look how that has grown to be a nice little fun contest.

General you go out of you way in posts to make comments about me and most of the time I don't catch them but I sure am not going to let you get away with them when I do. You want it simple solution? stop bring up my name and I'll do the same for you.

I know as one of my fellow mno members read what you just posted is laughing their off.  You bobby bass sent a pm to another member who told both of us at the same time your intentions of why she signed up or you signed her up.  Your own words and it had nothing to do with making sure their was enough people.   It stated your sole intention was to keep me out of the challenge and you were laughing about it.  The funniest thing about it was you actually did me a favor cause I didn't want to be in the summer challenge anyway and us three had a good laugh about it.  We don't need or want people who just sign up like you did this year.  We will find a way to make sure everyone gets to participate who wants to.  For example next winter if you sign up and we end up having one to many people sign up we will just make your team a team of 4.  Instead of the team of 2 it currently is.  It also is one thing if you do it.  You participate in the site in general in other areas and are a valued active member.  But to be someone who has 15 posts, 10 of which were made just to be able to sign up, and the other 5 were to sign up for each individual contest.  Yeah those people should all be put on the same team.   By the way since when can't one person post all his teams fish in the open water challenge?  You are also free to post anything you want I don't ever chase you around the site to post smack about you I keep it right here where it belongs.  So agAin I advise you to stick to anything and everything you want besides the smack down and you won't have to worry about me.  Start your own thread in the ice fishing or open water section for friendly banter as you call it and you won't have anything to worry about.   The old saying out of sight out of mind.

After much research I'm still not sure I still understand that question.   Well, let's see, now I'll try to answer that as best I can. When I got married at 19 yrs old I was 155 lbs. Then at the age of 24 I decided to quit smoking. That was my downfall. Since then I some how managed to become more than twice the man I was at a peak of 342 lbs about 4 yrs ago. 3 months ago I was down to a mere 326 lbs.

As of today I'm 281 lbs due to being sick for the last month or so. Would be nice if I could loose another 5 lbs so I'd be back in fighting shape.

Ya But, I guess you'll just have to wait in line till the 2014 open water fishing challenge to try an chop me down to size. Right now your just SOL trying to whoop an opponent that is currently a noncombatant in the ice challenge. Your like a blind man swinging at any sound you imagine hearing.

      I go away for a couple of days and the boys put their dresses on and start pulling hair.  This is the MNO 2013 Ice Fishing Challenge.  Team "Winter Storm" is in it to win it.  The Lake of No fish lived up to it's name again.  Heater problems were solved.  I intended to move my house 10 yards on Sat.  Yep 10 yards from where it was all by itself.    I had walked a circle in the snow earlier in the morning.  I went out early for the night bite so I could move the house.  , You guessed it. there was a portable right in the circle.  I could barely squeeze my truck in between his truck to park next to my house.  I talked to him a little later and he seemed like a decent guy.  I don't think he even comprehended that might pi$$ someone off.  I could have moved the house earlier so it was my own fault.   I caught a few and missed a few.  He was blanked.  I missed two that had meat on them.  Minor set backs on the way to victory.

    If you are referring to the above  question you should ask the MNO 2014 Open Water Fishing Challenge rules committee.  At last count there were no members but they are open for applications.

Never said there was  a rule change said I have suggested a Master Division where fishermen would have to post in all three categories to qualify. In addition the categories would be the original slot size for minimums. Not the current smaller sizes. Original mim I think were 16 inch bass, 20 inch walleye and 24 inch northern. Was merely a suggestion for consideration. Would appear that DDS has forgot about the suggestion.

         I thought weed was only legal in Colorado.  This is the ice fishing challenge smack down.  For anyone not understanding that I  would say THIS IS THE MNO ICE FISHING SMACKDOWN!!   If you have pulled a hammy, thrown in the towel and are willing to accept defeat with roughly a month and a half to go then   go warm up and have a cup of   while we finish our game.

  Leader board is updated.  Wyofish has catapulted his team (Ice Lord Mothers)into second behind team Beaver Dam.  Dakids posted up a fine pike that has sent the Five Knuckle Into crew ever so closer to the abyss.  Winter Storm headed your way later this week.

sure glad my teammates are doing something here. just cant get the fish to cooperate here. and then them off the wall rules....not allowing spearing. went out sat and couldn't even catch a catfish. but then no one else around me did either.
