Getting started on Challenge trophies

Time for me to get cracking on those 2013 Challenge Trophies. Please feel free to share any inspirational thoughts you might have as we celebrate the accomplishments of Borgies Death Squad.

Lee always told me he calls Borgie, "The Old Bat," so her picture should be on the Trophy, along with her team mates!
Oops, hope you weren't referring to her beat down bat!

Stop trying to get me in trouble with Borgie. I never ever called her an "old bat".    I may have mentioned the phrase "old bag" a few times. So, stop trying to get me in trouble.

Thanks for clearing that up bro! It takes a big man to admit the error of his ways. "Meanwhile back at the ranch." Borgie is really looking forward to her 1st. MNO Challenge Championship Trophy. Let's see now, that will make two for the Borgersen household now.

Somehow the word leaked out in our town of Elk Grove about Borgie's Death Squad Winning the 2013 MNO Fishing Challenge. I'll have to admit the leak may have stemmed from the victory sign I put on our front lawn. So, anyhow a reporter shows up at the house yesterday for a brief interview.

Reporter: So, Mrs. B. how do you feel being the first female to win an MNO Fishing Challenge Trophy?


Borgie:    All I can say is this years team Borgie's Death Squad was a real break for me for a change.


Reporter: I understand your husband was in competition against you on another team.


Borgie:    You may call him competition but, when he finished in 10th place what would you call it?


Reporter: Will you be displaying your MNO Championship Trophy next to your husbands?


Borgie:    Nope! It's going in my bingo bag and every Sun & Thurs it will sit in front of my bingo cards.


Reporter: Will you be entering the MNO Challenge again next year?


Borgie:    Once you've tasted victory after years of being a runner up you can't get enough.




After a brief photo op that included the ever famous "Borgie's Bat", and one action shot of Borgie It was over. You may want to watch for the next issue of Today's Women In The Outdoors & also The Lady's Bingo Review.

Fabulous is the way I would describe this years championship trophies. Were so fortunate to have such a dedicate member as Fawkinnae on the MNO staff. This years trophies are the best yet!  

3 out of 3 thumbs up to the head of our creative/art dept.

I see 6 bats.

Save the postage.  We will meet up sometime this winter on my secret crappie lake #1.

Maybe we can have a GTG and have an awards ceremony.

   The "Ultimate Storm" team while disappointed that our trophy was snatched from our certain victory, is glad the Death Squad won it.  We individually vow to revenge our loss.  I count six bats on the trophies.  I have a blind friend that did a reading on Greatoudoors cranium after this years beat-down.  He said Borgie precisely wrote the entire Harry Potter series  in braille on the dome of the only human Pinata born and raised in Ely.
