Sunday outing with dakids

I planned to enter this nice 30 incher in the contest then dakids goes and gets a bigger one.

I had a great day until I trip and step on deadeyes tipup. It was destroyed. I replaced it with my lucky big fish catching tipup. Deadeye may you catch many GIANT fish with it.  It was a perfect day.  Good fishing and good company.

We were just laughing about the guy who drilled a hole and started fishing 10 feet from my tip up (and this is on a 2700 acre lake) and then dakids goes and steps on my tip up (while it was in the hole), I guess next time we need a bigger lake.

Met deadeye again and I also brought my oldest daughter and her best friend who had NEVER ice fished before.  since she was a newbee she was up first and she didn't disappoint.  She connected with this nice gator. A fat 29.5 incher.
