Fishing consistent.  Fish spread out deep. Anglers fishing a mix of mud and reefs with positive results. Arnesen's, 16 Mile, Long Point, Zippel Bay, and Morris Point doing well in 28-32 or 34-36 feet of water. With clearer water, low light and night bite continues in 15-17 or 20-24. Some walleyes moving back towards Pine Island.  Good bite continues in 28-32 near Knight and Bridges reef. With timid bite, jigging effective with jigging spoon and minnow head.  Also use dead stick 4-6" off bottom with live minnow. Glow colors or gold best. Lots of walleyes, saugers, and good mix of jumbo perch and tulibees.

On the Rainy River, evenings and mornings best. Move towards the mouth of the river, positive results in front of airport and Wabanica Church. 16-18 feet of water best.

Up at the NW Angle, walleyes and saugers action remains strong.  Good numbers of pike and crappie in the mix. Try 25-30 feet between rock and mud transition for best results. Glow jigs and spoons, or rattle jigs best. Use dead stick 4" off bottom.  For info on lodging and fish house rentals, www.LakeoftheWoodsMN.com.
