Very cool pictures.  centered which can be difficult.  Try moving the cam a little closer and lower.  The birds will look huge with the camera pointed upward.  Also pay attention to the backround.  your pictures are really, really good.  Take them to the next level but be careful.  It can be addicting.  Keep posting pics.  It helps feed my addiction.

Thanks for the advice. I just put the cam out for fun but now I'm going to see what else I can do. I'm going to place several cameras at different angles. If I could get a full shot of this photo it would be beautiful!

Here are a few of my best shots.  I usually only get one or two good shots per 1,000 taken.

Very nice!  All cool pics, but I love the Blue Jay and Grouse.  I always wanted to find a grouse drumming log to get photos like that.  I just moved to a new house this year and now have grouse in the area, so I will see if I can find a good drumming log this spring.

When you find a drumming log look at where the most poop is and what side of the log its on. They usually face the same way all the time.   Have fresh batteries and a big sd card as you will get 1000 pictures per day.

Well since I started with good pictures and then they got "gooder," I was hoping I could try harder and get the goodest. I did get addicted! I set up 4 cameras on the carcass, each taking photos as fast as possible.  Over 80,000 photos in 2 weeks and I still like my first ones the best.  Would have helped if the eagles kept coming though.  Haven't had them come in for the last 10 days.  Just had hawks and crows. And a sasquatch with a glowing hand.

These are the last photos that may be worth looking at.  I pulled all the cameras and cleaned up the area.  I definitely have to try this again someday. I would like to get some close ups of vultures as well.  Ugly, but cool birds.

If anyone else tries this, make sure your carcass is lead free.  Use copper bullets or arrow the deer.  Lead kills a lot of eagles each year.  Crazy how many sick eagles are brought in each year, starting 1-2 weeks after gun season, all due to lead poisoning from eating carcasses of deer killed during gun season.
