I don't know why but it seems to change every yr. I'll have great luck with a lure then the next yr something seems to do better. Over the long haul I'd have to say it would be a #7 crawdad colored wallydiver.

I've had my best times pulling a #11 floating blue rapala with a #7 split shot about 3 feet ahead of it. Run that setup in 10 ft + or - a couple during the twilight hour and hold on.

Reef Runners if it's deep and #5 shad raps if it's shallow.  Whatever it take to make constant contact with the rocks.  For some reason I've had the most success with blue and silver.
