No worries Lee.  Tell her to send me that Charm and I'll put a picture of me in it.  That way she'll have at least one Handsome looking Stud around the house.   ;)

Unless TGO and his fellas upgrade something Borgie and I will know that we were the real champs of this year and I'm guessing her an I can live with that.  That is of course unless some other team can top what we should have had.
Since you're claiming a Phantom Fish, making you the "real" champions, why not say it was 49 inches long?
You should have started that post out, "Once upon a time......"  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Hell, Corny caught a 37 inch walleye, but didn't have a quarter in his pocket, so the photo wouldn't have counted.  He tossed it back!!  :doah:
jkjkoda caught a 27 inch smallie, but the batteries were dead in the camera so he couldn't take a picture.  :bonk:
So the Eve of Destruction would actually be at about 105.25 if it wasn't for bad luck!!  :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon:
Dang it!!  :laughroll: :laughroll: :laughroll:

The phantom fish was lucky.  That 19.75" smallie he posted got a dislocated mandible (lower jaw) getting stretched out to 20". :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

That I can't even try to disagree with.  You were there (however worthless that was), that thing being 20.25 inches was a beast and flopping all over the boat.  I had to hold on tight.  Kind of like if someone was gong to try and take your blow up doll away.  They know they are only coming away with a leg or an arm from the vice grip you would have on her.

(I'm guessing it's back to me paying  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:)

Hmmm, I looked at the pictures, didn't see any measuring board with the quarter indicator, so it may have only been around 37-38 inches long, at best!!!  :coffee:

Very true TGO.  The only people who saw it measured were the people in my boat, HD, and Little HD.  Plus with the judging here after the camera angle deductions, shutter speed deduction, measuring off of who knows which fin deduction, flash deduction, one leg shorter than the other deduction.......... :censored: it probably would have only went 15 inches and I would have been told it didn't meet the minimum length restrictions.    :bonk:

General I went back and looked at your bass again.  I will change the score to 20,25.  I leveled out the ruler and can show it is in fact 20.25.  Sorry.  I didn't notice that when I was taking the picture.

TGO in all seriousness I was over the lost pics of that Northern about 15 minutes after I realized they were gone.  Sharing that moment with my son (as you can see in the pic) was worth it.  What you guys don't know was after I hooked the fish I let him real it in.  I knew it was big and watching him fight it and the three or four runs it made each time it would get close to the boat was amazing.  He couldn't keep the rod high enough off the side of the boat so I would have to grab it and hold it as I was afraid the rod was going to snap in half.  The only thing that hurt was with the new crappy regulations we couldn't take the fish home to put on the wall and he couldn't understand why.  However we are getting a replica made.  I'll catch another pike yet this year.

Well after updating the scoreboard I see that if the General  could follow the simplest of directions the Borgie beatdown of 2014 would have been epic.  The fish measuring was witnessed by official MNO members with the quarter included.  (of course he had to borrow it)

A 42 inch pike would have put them at 91.75 inches and the only human pinata born and raised in Ely would have been leaking gravy.  Even if the Eve of destruction manages to hold onto second place  they will know in there hearts they got it on a technicality.    Some Nodakers and Ely residents have no pride. :doah:

OK DDS, enough of you relying on the General or Borgie to defeat an opponent that you can't beat yourself!! :coffee:
Why don't YOU just catch a fish large enough to count in the Challenge!!  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Until the time comes that you can man up and catch a few big fish, the Eve of Destruction Rules, Babee!!!   :dancinred: :dancinred: :dancinred:

In case some haven't noticed The Grave Diggers have just begun to make their move towards to top of the leader board. Just to show our respect towards Borgie And Da Boys we would be remiss in not mentioning a gallant effort on their part as they take over 2nd place. :happy1:  However it's time to take the gloves off. training-087

By the way, then the rumor started up that The General was able to retrieve the missing 42 inch northern photo. Well, that was when the trouble started for greatoutdoors.  He simply broke down  and had to be taken to the emergency room by ambulance. It seems that he started to  :puke: and couldn't stop running to the pot with a bad case of the :moon: Hershey squirts. He had to be put on an I.V. due to severe dehydration. Please don't pass this information on to anyone else since we wouldn't want G.O. to feel embarr :moon: ed     The Eve Of Distraction won't have to keep looking over their shoulder much longer because they will passed up soon!

The Grave Diggers will be pulling out the heavy equipment in the days to come and everyone will be tuning in looking for any hourly updates that are sure to come.
