I really hate to break this news to you Pig Boy, but the Leester and I could out fish you with one hand tied behind our backs (or have DDS in the boat, which is the same thing)!!!
So you better get ready for a disappointing season as you watch our tail lights pulling away from you in this year's Challenge!!!!
The more I think about it, if you and DDS end up on the same team, PETA would be proud to sponsor the two of you, because there is absolutely no chance of any fish being harmed with that boat of losers!!

  You don't have to worry about thegreatoutdoors.  He is what we fishermen refer to as a non factor.  Sure he gets out of the blocks fast every year but then fades quickly ending in the inevitable Borgie Beatdown.     He has been undergoing extensive training in the off season to get ready for this season but is still not a serious contender.

DDS, You must have had an attorney draft your post when it referred to you as "a fisherman!" 
Technically, a fisherman is one who fishes, and you have no problem with that (if you remembered to put the plug in your boat before launching it). 
It's the "catching" part that has eluded you in the past, and will be no different this year!
And as for Boar trying to make his name something to fear, (claiming it to be a vicious male bear) when in reality a Boar is nothing more than a castrated male pig!!

I don't know about the rest of you but, one member is calling another "The Great Outhouse". Responding promptly is the soiled member, by calling the other "A Castrated Pig".

Now if that's not one calling out the other I must have missed something.   YES!, some of you out there are way ahead of me and know that there is only one way to settle this issue. It's the good old fashion MNO side bet. :fishing2:  This will assure that everyone can find out which of the two combating members will prove dominance.

I'll stop short here and leave it up to "The Great Outhouse" and "The Castrated Pig". Who will be the first one to pick up the gauntlet and except a one on one MNO side bet with one another? On the other hand maybe they are both All Show & No Go!

To that I say, Man Up Lee, I accept the Challenge you so bravely suggested.

Did you see that article in the Red Lake Falls Gazette? It was last summer. As we all know Boar enjoys his shore fishing, especially off the local bridge. The way the story went he saw this little girl catching tiny gills off the Red Lake Falls bridge. Wanting to get in on the action he went over and muscled in on her spot.

She got mad and told him to jump in the lake and he just laughed at her. That was until he saw her father comming.

DDS likes to get kind of mouthy, but when if comes to an actual Challenge where he doesn't have any team mates to cover for him, he gets awful nervous!!
Can't blame him though, since one of his old girlfriends, Moms Mabley, could still out fish him 10 to 1, and she's been gone for almost 50 years!
So is the Lee/Great/Boar/DDS contest a go??? Well, you can see the last name is only in there as a "participant", with absolutely no chance of winning, let alone catching even one fish!!

   Hold on Sea Biscuit!!   TGO is trying to get a rookie into a sucker bet.  The fishing challenge is a tough to win.  It takes 3 trophy fish to win.  Your chances of getting all three yourself in a year are slim.  Wait until you get your team.  One of the goals of the fishing challenge is to open up your mind to fishing other species.  For example, if Thegreatoutdoors were to catch a trophy fish            I will start over with a more believable example.  Let's say Lee bags a 30" eye and a 20" small mouth on his Ely trip.  His partners would then go balls out on a pike quest to keep their team out of last place.  2 trophies will get you just that.  Last place.  My suggestion is wait until the teams are drawn and then go from there.  If you will be doing a lot of shore fishing you will need to find TGO's dock.  Borgie knows where it is and fishes it for a couple of days each summer and then hands TGO a good old fashiond beatdown right in his own neighborhood.  Be patient and don't get drawn into an ambush.  In this contest you want to walk softly and carry a Louisville slugger.

Besides that the side bet rules will vary from the main challenge. The one thing being the same is all the side bet fish will have to go through the same verification process by the judges.

 You will be able to come in 1st or 2nd, or 3rd. Also You might be able to come in 1st and 2nd, and 3rd. Are you confused (details will follow soon enough).

That generaly happens when one faces sheer an utter decimation. Aroller coaster of emotions occurs. First anger in part by "i cant believe this chump is calling us out" then name calling by frustration. Pigboy ect.. then reality that the end is near, utter destruction is eminent and conformity it then only option, "Boar ol buddy" seen thousands of times but i take no mercy.
