Rumor has it, this years MNO Fishing Challenge is over.

I tip my cap to the electrifying team - "The Eve of Destruction" - Corny13, Jkjkoda and Greatoutdoors, who pretty much dominated this years competition from the start. Congratulations you guys! Well done!

Their just may be some truth to that Bobby To his credit he's tried just about everything else this season. At least he got a chance to view photographing of The General's huge contest winning pike this year. Hey could he have put the hex on that missing photograph

   I wish I could have gotten out this weekend.  It isn't lookin'  good for  the Union Thugs.  I do think there is one more pike out there that has not been posted yet.  While it would not be enough for first I think the third place spot would have a new resident team.

  The Union Thugs would like to congratulate the winners of the 2014 MNO fishing Challenge.  The "Eve of Destruction" pretty much owned this contest from the beginning.  TheGreatoudoors put on quite a show.  A little luck and big screw up by one of the boys from Borgie's team allowed The only bait dealer born and raised in Ely to narrowly avoid another Borgie Beatdown.  The Union Thugs may have taken last place but we still get all the chicks.

When DDS said the Thugs got all the "chicks" I assumed he was referring to those small pink or yellow things that normal people call, "peeps!" 
PS, be careful in the wording for next years Challenge, like if DDS wants to call it a "Hawg Contest,"  then he would technically be allowed to enter all the women he's dated (or kidnapped)!!

The Eve of Destruction rules until another team wins next year!!
Of course, DDS would like that to be forgotten, even more than his last place finish this year! 
He will be in last place for one year, until another team sinks to that level, if that's possible!! 
PS-Has another team ever recorded such a pitiful score in the Challenge???

TGO what would you expect of a team made up of 2 boat anchors and a Mickey mouse fishing pole.  I'd say that score was actually an accomplishment for them.

     Hey now.  We are Union Thugs.  We were very busy making sure our safety regulations and environmental concerns were met.  Given a little more time and a bigger expense account we could have  done some real damage.  That's why term limits suck.  Given 6-8 years we could restrict the competition enough that we would have all tied for first.

Well General, when you put it like that, I guess they were a team of over achievers! 
But you have to wonder that any team with a score that low, had anyone on it that even knew how to bait a hook!!

I put up enough pictures to single handily beat the tar out of all 3 slugs together.  Just a walk in the park.  Anything else in life you would like me to beat the three of you at.  IF you guys picked leaning on shovels, siting on your  , running the tv remote, excuses, having a lower IQ than an otter, etc..........you could win in a landslide.

In all fairness to two of the Union Thugs team members I would be remiss if I  failed to mention the following. Two of the guys to my understanding were not actually full blown union members in the real world. After living the life of a union thug all season they were introduced to the ridicule and the shame of it all.

Hopefully during that period of time they had come to realized the pitfalls of being isolated from the rest of society. If they would be willing to concede to the rest of the MNO Challenge competitors, the error of their ways I'm sure that the opportunity for redemption will follow.

After all who that was not would profess to be a union member!
