:police: Minnesota  DNR News Release :police:

3/31/14

Effective immediately: In order to assure boater awareness of the states invasive species policies, boaters will be required to take a brief questionnaire. The questionnaire will be given at various boat launches on the spot without warnings. It is the responsibility of every boating enthusiast to be aware of the states invasive species policies.

Failure to answer questions correctly will result in a fine to the individual boat owners. It is recommended each individual check the DNR Invasive species updates.

What a bunch of  :bs:.  Are they going to give the same questionnaire to ducks and geese?  Probably paying a duck translator $250K year at that.

As much as I disagree with this policy it surely shows the commitment the DNR has made to fend off invasive species. Hopefully the Wisconsin DNR doesn't decide to adopt the same policy.  :doah:

The DNR doesn't give a crap about invasive species. This is just like everything they do, it is a fundraising movement. You wait, they will probably start seizing peoples boats and trucks for violating the invasive species "laws".

If that was true their would be an unlimited season on Pelicans, Cormorants, etc. and to be able to take them by any means necessary.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I contacted the MN DNR this afternoon regarding the new invasive species questionnaire policy. I expressed to the person on the phone about negative responses that were posted on an outdoor website that I frequent. She then transferred me to a supervisor. I explained to him that the general feeling towards this new questionnaire issue is not being accepted well by the fisherman and seems a bit extreme.

He asked me how the information got out to the outdoor web-site. I told him that I kind of post many of the DNR news updates when I find them. He then asked me how did you get the site members to believe all that crap? I told him that it's April 1st and they still fell for my B.S. story!
