I have had a lot of Wisconsin customers lately, and they keep asking if swedish hooks are legal.  Does anyone know

Thanks

If a Swedish hook is a treble hook then as long as it is attatched to a lure they are legal.
But not as a plain hook set up.

Must have a lure body like a jigging rap or a castmaster.

Is a swedish hook anything like a norwegian hook? I don't even know what a swedish hook is. I'll guarentee a norwegian hook isn't legal.

Hey meadow...don't be knockin cheeseland. I don;t bash MN.

We get a few things right over here. We can fish with 2 poles all year, We can also keep a limit of fish in the freezer and still be able to catch a limit today. MN has that daily bag limit/possession limit thing all messed up. And lets not even get into the interpretation of what is a lure and what isn't and wether it can have a treble hook or not.

Hey Hey Hey!

I'm Cheesehead Also!  It's mainly my family trying to explain this swedish hook thing when they come up this weekend.  Sometimes explaining the Wisconsin Minnesota conversion thing gets a little tricky.  What ussually blows a cheeseheads mind up here is the price of beer ;D   You just can't brace them for the sticker shock.

I hear ya there, thats why most of my fishing is done in Cheesehead land. Plus I'm only 7 miles from Hudson Wisconsin.
