Home ice advantage prevails, Hawks win but only by a score of 2-1 not like the first two wins on home ice.  Wild return home to take game 6 on Tuesday and then back to The Hawks rink to finish them off in game 7... Wild just trying to help out the Hawks sell the last of their hot dogs so they don't spoil as their season will be over.....  :coffee:

The Wild play in the STATE OF HOCKEY Black Hawks are playing in a STATE OF PANIC. Wild win at home and go back to take game 7. After three games the Wild have figured out not to eat the brats as a pregame meal...     :happy1:

Injured Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw will miss his fifth straight game against the Minnesota Wild in the Western Conference semifinal.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says Shaw's lower-body injury is progressing, but he won't make the trip for Tuesday night's Game 6 in Minnesota. Chicago can eliminate Minnesota and advance to the Western Conference final.

Quenneville hopes Shaw will skate in the next day or so. Shaw sustained the injury during Game 1 of the series in Chicago.

Shaw had a career-high 20 goals and 19 assists during the regular season and scored twice in seven postseason games.

Hawks coach stated that they may want to save him up for the next series when they should be playing a real team with some talent for a change. When asked what he ment by that comment he stated that the Hawks have been playing soft so the series would last longer.

When our reporter asked why would you want the series to linger on. He replied that they could sell more hot dogs that way. Reporter asked where on earth did you ever get an idea like that? Coach stated "from some wise  :moon: on MNO named Bobby Bass."

Well the Black Hawks get to open another case of hotdogs as they won in OT  Have to tip my hat to Crawford he kept them in the game till they found a way to score.

I have watched a lot of college hockey as well as just about all the Wild games this past season and if you didn't get to watch the second period you missed the best period of hockey played this season!

On another note this was an important game because with the loss I am pulling the plug on my cable TV, have a ant. set up ready to go and the only reason I stayed plugged in was the Wild... Should be interesting when I tell the cable guy I am pulling the plug because the Wild lost ! ahhaha

I noticed that Tim has not posted a huge celebratory picture of the hawks stunning victory on the home page as of yet! He's still licking his wounds after a bitter defeat by the undisputable best team in hockey. He thinks he will punish me by not posting the Hawks Victory photo.

It don't bother me in the least. I just wonder how dam long it's going to take   to post the :censored: picture. I'm not about to loose my cool :taz: even though the freakin picture should have been up hours ago. :doah:

I've invited a bunch of Hawks fans to enter the site so they can view the fabulous Hawks victory photo this morning and now they think I'm full a   :moon: but, That Don't Bother Me! :banghead:

NOTHING IS BOTHERING ME!................ SO DON'T ASK WHAT'S BOTHERING ME! :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz: :taz:

Ok you guys can rise from your knees now. I just wanted to see you pay homage to the finest team to hit the ice this season, last season and next season. If the home page is making you nauseous it's a lesson to teach you how a pregnant woman feels in the morning. In another 24 hours you may find yourselves developing a rash or hives.

If it's any consolation when the Hawks win the Stanley Cup you can take pride in the fact that your team gave them such a hard time on the way to the top.

Actual in my world I wish the best to the Blackhawks. Because then it could be perceived as the Wild may have been the second best team. Anybody understand the philosophy in that?

If I was a wild fan that's exactly what I would be thinking. Unfortunately in reality that's only wishful thinking. Can't blame a guy for trying to turn a bad thing into a good thing. Best wait for next season to see how things unfold. I'd say you've got a lot to look forward to given the way the Wild played this season.

Na that just means you lost to the winner just like everyone else did in the playoffs. That only works if you lost to the winner in the finals.  don't know how we, the Wild could do that... Have to get the Black Hawks to win as a wild card next year..  then get beat by us in the finals!  :happy1:
