Great fishing continues!  All sizes, eaters, slots and trophies.  On the south shore, 12 - 19' successful in numerous areas, Twin Islands, Long Point, the fields, Zippel Bay reef, in front of both Morris Point Gap and Lighthouse Gap and in front of Pine Island.  Fish also going in 4 Mile Bay.  Anchored up and jigging with frozen shiners is the go to method.  Some success with crawler harnesses.  Gold is hot.

Rainy River, good reports of jig fishing. Best depths, 7 - 15'.  Numerous spots.

Up at the NW Angle, awesome fishing.  Fish being caught in 5' - 33'.  Jig and minnow is go to.  Crankbaits working for some.  Water temps reaching 48 degrees in spots.  Jumbo perch and pike mixed in.  In MN, try Flag Island flats, red buoys by Sportsman's and Angle Inn and Little Oak Island.  In Ontario, Devil's Elbow and Deepwater Bay.  For more info, www.LakeoftheWoodsMN.com.
