I'm pretty sure its marijuana.  Its the same exact spot that I found it 2 or 3 years ago.  It disappeared when the plants were mature then and I expect it to disappear again in a few weeks.

I'm not an expert either, but I'm pretty sure it's not marijuana. The leaves have a smooth edge to them.

Its not pot, pot has five leaves with jagged edges, my dad thought the same thing in our river bottom, I assured him it wasnt pot. And yes i know this from past experience. much past experience. ;D its rag weed type, like some kind of stink or burn weed like i mentioned, growes in patches like Poison ivy, and of course hemp, down south in oklahoma hemp grows wild in ditches an wheat feilds, use to combine the stuff up in patches as big as a average house hold yard. just a weed that growes like crazy and is a hinderence in Ag feilds, hence the name WEED. hardley any THC potency. yes again from expereince long past. ;)

the leaves don't look right..

my experience being when I was in the guard we would get called out to hack the stuff down every now and then. but we would usually get called in towards the end of it's growing time so maybe it's immature stuff.

and fyi.. if it is some kind of stink weed/itch weed/poison ivy.. don't smoke it.. my sister in law burned a bunch of weeds last year and the smoke from the poison ivy caused her lungs to swell and messed her up pretty good for a few weeks.

Marsh milkweed possibly. Any idea what the flower color is? Marsh milkweed would have pink flowers. Likes wet prairies, marshes, stream banks. 1-4 feet tall.

Burning Nettle is in the middle behind the front two...more broad leaf with coarse edge.

It looks like a sunflower...giant possibly...but leaves are like marsh milkweed also so that is pretty good guess.

Sure look like sunflower leaves but those tufts of leaves coming out between the stem and leaf are throwing me off.

I agree...we need some pics of the flower
