Last weekend I went fishing with a buddy at his lake place.  Fishing was great.
We caught Crappies, Sunfish, northerns, bass and a bonus walleye.

Couple crappies caught at high noon with sunny skies.

More crappies caught in the morning - calm water made easy fishing.

This was one big sunfish!

I walked to an old bridge and caught some nice bass.

:happy1:  Very nice hump head slabs.  How big was the biggest crappie?

(did you get your limited edition MNO bumper sticker)?  I mailed it the end of  last week.

To catch the big crappies fish at high noon on a calm day in 8-10 feet of water with scattered weeds .  Use a jig with small twister and a plastic gulp minnow 1 inch long.  Hang this about 5-6 feet below a bobber.
