What have you guys been seeing for an acorn crop this year?  I was out the other day and things look pretty good.  Not all trees were loaded but some of them were hanging low with acorns.  Could lead to possible stand locations for early bow.

I aint been out much this year But the squirrel population has dramatically dropped. This is from looking out the windows.Acorns on the trees in the yard last were heavy this year few.You do know for deer the white oak is their favorite. They are long time growers and most were logged off so their few and far between.
What type oaks you hunting?I will be checking my archery woods this week,It has tons of burr oak and one side is lake shore the other is all corn 3/4 mile a corn.

These are red oak.  I have quite a few white oaks and burr oaks so I will have to check them out for acorns.

the red oak by the house here seems moderately loaded. haven't noticed at the land. I will take a look next time I'm up.
