Brass Cleaning?

  Wet or dry?  I have always done dry tumbling.  I watched some youtube vids and was going to try the wet method with SS media because the primer pockets get cleaned too.  I bought a Harbor Freight double rock tumbler last fall but it is still new in the box.  My dry tumbler motor just crapped out so I will have to decide whether to get a new one or go the stainless steel pin route.  Any re loader's out there have any personal preferences to share?

DDS here at the Lodge the FELLOWS prefer the dry tumbling method, matter of fact they throw in a piece of brass with a primer in it, when it goes off the brass is usually done...




( The Lodge of course does not approve of this method before someone pipes in)

I took a lesson from a guy who used stainless steel media and dripped in some of that Nu finish... the brass looked better than new.

I have all my reloading stuff tucked away... still trying to sell the house. can't wait to get it set up again
