how many people here video tape or attempt to record there hunts?

Im adding it to add a whole new aspec of bow hunting. right now I just use a normal video camera with a gopro 3 attached just above my sight. hoping to give it a 1st person point of view. it was a struggle to get the gopro mounted how I wanted it without having to buy the extra 70$ mount that mounts to the stabilizer.

anyone else doing this or attempting to? much luck? any pointers would help also. ill be doing it with my rifle my shotgun and muzzleloader as well.

I plan on trying to film with a go pro 3.  I have a bunch of ways to attach but plan to use the head strap.  I have an app on my phone that I can use to control the camera as well as being used as a view finder.  Maybe too much technology for an old guy but I will give it a try.

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

Some times I'll carry two cameras a small cannon instant and a telephoto pentax for pics.I get lots of wildlife deer and others.I dont think I'd film my shooting tho.I may embarrass myself and we cant have that.Altho some of those gopros are kinda neet! they do need better optics for long range pics.I'd bet they will come soon surly at a cost!! I cant afford.

well my shooting isn't the worry haha I can assure ya that. but everyone misses at somepoint. the go pro isn't good for long range but I take most if not all of my bow shots at 20 yards and closer, I am very particular about my set-ups, so most of them are super close. I want a nicer digital video camera but im not willing to drop the money on them 1500$+. so we shall see what I can come up with. I wont post a video until the end of the season and it will be a whole season of action! :) from bow to muzzleloader!

well im going to practice with gopro and see how that looks. I have it mounted perfectly I think. I don't think the cam on my head would work out to well.
