Good Luck big guy! What I'm seeing is they are yet nocturnal.Corn is down and I thought with all the snow they may start coming out during the day as they normally do. Not yet! they are under the apple trees most every night 12PM to 4 AM then leave. I'm hoping they soon start what they always do and thats come out daytime.Once I see that I may get a license and crossbow one in the yard for the first time ever!!

our cameras are showing nocturnal movement also. the snow pushed them out of the swamp.. not a single track in one of their favorite swamps. they've been skirting the edges of it. just have to polish up the muzzle loader and see what happens

Dew if you get an archery tag I'm available to party hunt.  Can I have the recliner next to the beer fridge?  I don't have a safety harness so if you require them to hunt on your land I would need to borrow one.   :happy1:

The recliner!! Where will I sit?? I guess for company you can use it.The porch is a screened in and unheated!! I havent made gun ports!! the ones in The outlaw JoseyWales movie are what I want, The beer fridge is unpluged it's in the garage. The beer stays cool enough just on the kitchen floor where the windows are broken and covered with cardboard. I planned on sitting in the 8X12 ft garden shed with a milk house heater.Thats warmer than the kitchen!!
Didn't I see a post where you got this years deer??
Anyway if you come to help me take one,You'll have to watch closely I promised Glenn57 I wont take the deer he has his sights on.That pic is in another thread here. It's a monster and glenn is kinda a fiend with that Louisville sluger,So we cant even spook that deer. But yer welcome to come and hunt my backyard anytime.Just bring tall boots sometimes the manure gets deep over here!

I picked up a license today.  Not sure when I will go but just feels good to have the option.

if I buy a license its only so I can assist my sister to help her quest for her first deer. she has until this sunday in the metro to close the deal during the regular firearms. shes shooting the muzzleloader now, only difference is the scope has to come off. she has changed her mind now from wanting a buck to the next mature deer that walks into range.
