I hate to say it but some of us need our ladies to give us a bat to da head. Great Outdoors is a bachelor but he still gets a beat down from Borgie when we come up to Ely.

Borgie is still upset that Lumpy and his team gave Borgie's Raiders, the Dumpy, in the last Challenge!!

The only thing that GO  (Mr. Lumpy to you) will be bringing, is enough big fish to make you and Borgie  go into hiding!   
You'll probably spend your vacation in some small village in South American, instead of traveling to Ely and futilely attempting to beat the team I'm on !!!   
The butt kicking of last year will continue into this Challenge!!

After last season having a banner year he had the challenge championship in his grasp. His massive pike was witnessed by fellow MNOer's and his team had 1st place in da bag! Unfortunately  the camera Gremlin Gods choose to pull a fast one and delete the photo and poof it vanished.

Some say that greatoutdoors had something to do with it. "SURE" you say, how could that be? Just wait a minute and let me explain. When you stop and think about it if you followed last years story line greatoutdoors had that gypsy girlfriend. Everyone knows that she had powers well beyond telling fortunes. So, did everyone notice how greatoutdoors seemed so smug and over confident last year. Well let me tell you my MNO brothers & sisters.

So, here's what happened. One Saturday night G.O. took his gypsy girlfriend over to The Crazy Wabbit bar in Ely. After getting her intoxicated he tricked her into casting a spell on The General. I won't go into detail as to what else also happened between those two because it was not a pretty sight.


                 
            Now that you know what happened back to the main question.

                                              WILL HE OR WON'T HE?

                       Will The General sign up for the 2015 fishing challenge?

That way, Borgie could give him three shiners instead of the normal two. 
He may have a bit of a problem buying  sunglasses to fit correctly, but hey, that's his problem!!

After kicking his butt so badly last year,  I knew I should have put a chip in him so I could track him down after he goes into hiding!!

   Gladiators-- I salute you.  The MNO bumper stickers that were purchased online via Paypal will be going out tomorrow afternoon.  You should receive them by Sat.  Monday at the latest.  Please remember that an entry fee does not guarantee a spot in the 2015 MNO Fishing Challenge.  The sooner you sign up the better.  The teams consist of 3 team members.  If you sign up late and are number 28 and we have 27 paid contestants you will not be entered.   Your bumper sticker fee will be returned to you.  To all non-combatants I understand you fear.  Your MNO name will be placed on the leader board with your own running total of your longest fish in each of the three species.   We have bass guys, we have walleye guys and we are blessed with some pike guys  .  ( Why I couldn't tell you).   If you get randomly teamed with one of each you will have a chance.    I should mention that we also have a Borgie.  I would like to get 30 contestants so I am not even going to talk about her at this time.  Let's just leave it to the greatoutdoors to describe the sound of hickory vs aluminum.  The game will be on.  I personally took a Union guy and a guy with no boat to last place last year.  I had fun doing it and we could have moved up at least 3 spots had I not lost a nice fish at the boat.  Both of my last place teamates are in and ready to give it another go.  Forget about thegreatoutdoors.   His stash of dynamite got wet this winter and he will become a legend in his own mind.  ( He hides his own Easter eggs).
