I dint loose my keys, i knew where they were, I could see them on the camera, it was just tough to reach them, but i did. I got them back, I never lost them, they just fell down the hole out of reach for a little bit. Jeeeeze you guys act like left the plug out my boat while launching it or something.

  Good news.  Boar found his keys.  Fish pics coming soon.   The Borgersen's are gearing up.  Corny13  has been sipping wine while being indoctrinated into the DFL Union lifestyle.  Thegreatoutdoors has found out that a Borgie Beatdown this year will make him wish he was a pinata.  The way I see it dakids bass put Da-Basstards in one of the top 3 positions.  TGO missed his spring pike fest and Corny13 has invited Prosupermag over for a Union endorsed wine and cheese party.   There will be no cookies served at this party.   Cookie is having Boar post fish for him so he gets to know what it feels like.     From here on in, when you post a fish it will be followed up by a raise.  That's why we picked our name.  You post a fish and we raise it.  You may as well get used to it.  From now until the end of the contest you will be saying ," Da-basstards  did it again!!

I defeated Boar so badly last year, I didn't want to have the poor lad go through the same torture again! 
In Boar's defense, I'm betting he'd remember to put the plug in if he did have a boat, unlike some others!

You don't know how close you were with your comment greatoutdoors. I heard through the grapevine that next year Boar  will have his own boat. He already purchase the drain plug so he's half way there!

  Having the boat in dry dock was tough this weekend.  Everything was re-wired and old rivets and transducer holes are all fixed.  I took pics on my phone but don't know how to post them yet.  Two times at the local marina for leaks after a transducer installation.  My boat never leaked before.  At least when the plug was in.         I was quite surprised and disappointed to see how much effort went into the professional installation.  The problem is solved now.   It even was disappointing to install the new bilge.  I drilled out the rivets on the mounting plate so I could get at it.  I mounted the plate with a single screw so I could remove it easily.  The new Atwater bilge would not shut off.  A little piece of plastic was a millimeter too long and caught the housing so gravity was not enough to drop the float to the off position.  Had I not tested it my bilge would have been burned up again as well as the battery being fried.  The demons have been exercised and the game is on.  Just so you know,  Da-Basstards are like Crows.  We are always about to do damage!!         We don't wait for no stinkin' supervisors approval.

  Nope.  Just a techno snafu.   This year Borgie will be batting clean up.  If she chooses to take a whack at the Crushers who could blame her?   What do we have this year?  I think 7 teams.  I see the Borgie train banging out the bingo bongos and easily knocking the Crushers to eighth place.   How do you get knocked into 8th place out of 7 teams?   It takes a pretty good beating.   Da-Basstards will soon handing them out for free.

Still clinging to the technical snafu excuse about the Vampire Pike that couldn't be photographed??   
The Eve thumped last year's second place team, but their name escapes me? 
As far as this year, I've already tossed back a 31 1/2 inch Pike, and 16 inch Bass because thaey were too small to break out the camera for. 
BUT, they would have put The Crushers in first place at this time! 
Looks like the next fish will be entered just to silence the critics, and eventual losers!!

 Do any of you post fish that I dont consider a baitfish or dink?? I only see one nord that is close to decent
 I had to drop out cause I cant get in a boat yet!! maybe after July 20th I may be able to.
 Have you fellers ever thought of making the smallest fish caught the winner? Change the contest around to fit you baitfish suppliers

Women and children will have nothing to fear. We have only one target on our list. He will talk the same old talk like he has nothing to fear but, we were told that he wet himself when he heard of our arrival last year.

As in past years he will use every tactic available to detour us but, it will be to no avail. Last year someone tipped off The Ely Echo that we were coming to town. What a crowd had gathered on the main street. Everyone who's any one was there to greet us.

Great Outdoors was even there dressed incognito as a fisherman. What a joke that was since everyone already recognized him at the end of the parade scooping up the horse poop! I could go on for hours listing all the low down tactics Great Outdoors tries but despite all his tricks we still feel sorry for the old timer.

It is true that a crowd had gathered on main street to meet the Borgersen's when they rolled into town, three Sheriff's cars, the local police, the FBI, and Geraldo Rivera shouting some questions to Lee about having DDS's sheep in the trunk of his car??? 
They took him away for questioning, and I never saw him again! 
Other than that, the Borgersen clan didn't put much of a dent in the fish population, other than Rock Bass. 
I do hear that this year,  Lee will be selling socks he knitted during the off season at the Blueberry Arts festival, so all will not be lost!!

  Borgie need only bat clean up this year.   Thegreatoutdoors made a few big mistakes.   His team narrowly  squeaked out a victory last year by a techno snafu.  He refused a rematch from a" Union Thug" member with no boat. He is mocking my sheep {even though he has a crush on the ugly one  }   I probably shouldn't mention the ugly one here  but that girl has opened up a thread of  her own.  Dew2 you may have to get in on that one.  It's a new concept.  I make a 100% of the shots I don't take.

    I read a report about what sounds like bongo drums coming out of Ely.  Could Borgie be taking it to thegreatoutdoors already?

  Well the Borgersens should be about two weeks into their three week vacation in thegreatoutdoors kitchen.   I expect TGO has been in hiding and counting the days until Borgie turns him into the only human pinata born and raised in Ely.   Once the annual Borgie Beatdown is over the team Da-Basstards will steam roll any competitors that have not already given up.  It appears from all the empty spots on the leader board that quite a few competitors were too intimidated by Da-Basstards to even try.

                  Well guess who's back in town!

I took another beating this year from but it was well worth it as I look forward to the beating Maki's about to receive.    While backtrolling and watching the screen on the electronics I would call out to Borgie when I marked a big fish. Then I'd look up towards the front of the boat and her rod would already be bent half in two.

This was not just a coincidence because it happened way to many times. I would pass over the fish first with the same rig and bait as Borgie. Yet, it didn't matter because she was the one to make the contact. I've warned her over and over not to get that suntan lotion on her hands because it will contaminate the bait and the fish won't bite it.   We even use separate leech containers so my bait won't get contaminated like hers. What's a guy to do

I earned my reputation as a guide this year by finding the fish no matter what the conditions. Borgie maintained her reputation this year as a stealthy a fish catcher no matter who else is in the boat with her!
