Best time of year for gardens
The work clearing last years garden debris is a distant memory.  Gone also is the thought of tilling and planting.  The first real weeding has been done weeks ago.  Now is the best time for the gardens.  Weeds are in check, nothing is overgrown and the mind wanders towards harvest anticipation.

NOT!!!!!

10 minutes of dime to quarter size hale yesterday evening...guess I won't be putting up any photos of my garden that was looking real good...  But I don't have to pluck the potato blooms off...looks like a rake was already taken to them... :cry: :cry: :cry:

Sorry Corny13, I know hail is a bitch.  We got hailed on in 2005, 2008 and 2011.  I was sure 2014 was the next in the three year cycle but now I hold my breath when the weather gets bad.  These were big bad wind driven hail that resulted in replacing roof, siding, gutters and some windows.  I'm surprised my insurance didn't drop me or tell me to move.   :bonk:

DEADEYE, I HAVE A FRIEND THAT LIVED IN BIG LAKE THAT WENT THRU THE SAME CRAP!!!!!!!!!! he got divorced, then remarried and lives in monty now!!!!!! :rotflmao:

glenn57 - That's quite a leap from hail to divorce, to remarry, to moving.  Does he blame it all on the hail?
