Everyone was ready to fillet Cutler in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game when he threw a crucial interception that normally would have cost the Bears a game. But not on this day. Smokin' Jay got the ball back with just more than two minutes left, completed five tough passes on that drive and got his team to within field-goal range and kicker Robbie Gould did the rest. Final score: Bears 22, Raiders 20 -- Chicago's first win of the season. By the way, Cutler shook off a hamstring injury to play in this game after sitting out last week. Anyone else want to question his toughness?

When I got up this morning I went to get a few bucks out of my MNO sports fund winnings. To my surprise I was short $50.00.

 When I confronted Borgie about it she said that she needed some extra cash for bingo. She also stated that I had told her if she needed extra cash to help herself. I had forgotten about telling her that I will have plenty more dough coming in with the 2015 football and hockey seasons upon us.

  As it stands now I only have $225.00 left in my MNO sports winnings fund. Thanks to my pals from MNO that have been supporting me. Especially Bobby and Glenn who have always been there when I needed them.

The  's   have one less loss than the bears. They are also playing the Chiefs next, so that should be a cake-walk. Come on even the lowly Bears beat the Chiefs. We will talk when the records are equal. That's unless your willing to take a bet when your in a hole like you expected me to do.

So let me get this straight. You have absolutely no faith in your beloved bears and fear the Vikings. and a little friendly wager amongst fishermen for a paltry buck or 2? Bobby and I apparently stand faithful behind our teams. Seems they don't do that in the windy city. :rotflmao:yep negotiated a 3 yr agreement this past spring. 13% wage increase over 3 yrs more vac and limits on ins increases.

Like a bakers doz in Chicago is 12 plus what ever you can put in your pocket... 225.00 in the prize fund eh... You sending half of that to KANE's defense fund?     I will still stand by my prediction that the Bears will end up with as many wins as the Vikes have losses...  Glenn I don't think we will get Lee to put up a dollar on his Bears, unless he gets points..

If you're gonna  up Jay Cutler when he doesn't play well, you gotta give it up when he leads his team back from the dead. The win in Kansas City gave the Bears two straight victories. It also gave Chicago a second straight week of heart-attack fanfare -- especially with the drop-the-football-pick-it-up-and-wing-it-to-my-running-back-in-the-end-zone-with-18-seconds-left play to steal a win. And let me tell you, that was stealing a win in Arrowhead on Sunday. How about Cameron Meredith, an undrafted rookie from Illinois State, catching three balls on the final two scoring drives, all of them for first downs?
