Well, here we are. "The morning after the day before" Unfortunately I have still not fully recovered from the devastating Bears Loss. To be quite honest the Bears played a better game than I had anticipated. No shame here since it was a good football game. Both teams were playing hard football with a lot of injured players heading to the sidelines and locker room. The good news was that the Packers were shown that they can be   training-087 defeated yesterday!

Now! To my recipients of the one dollar wager. Would you like the regular U.S. treasury one dollar bill? OR The commemorative  gold gelded one of a kind U.S. treasury collectors one dollar bill signed by none other than Mwah? (myself)

Please PM me with your complete name & mailing address.

At this time I would like to thank the participants for introducing me to the word loss. It has been a once in a lifetime experience for me.

All wagers will be paid per event.
If you want to wager another event we well accommodate you at that specific time.

Matt Forte Trade Rumors: Chicago Bears May Trade Forte, Robbie Gould Before NFL Deadline.

November 3 2015

Matt Forte trade rumors indicate the Chicago Bears could be busy at the trade deadline. A trade of Matt Forte would certainly frustrate Bears fans, but it could also set the franchise on a rebuilding path. A report from CBS Sports on Sunday, November 1, indicates that Chicago has “made it clear” that the team is open to moving several expensive veterans. That includes Forte, who could improve any team looking to acquire a running back for the second half of the NFL season.

During the 2015 NFL season, Forte has rushed for 507 yards on 126 carries. He should easily eclipse the 1,000-yard mark again this season, even if he doesn’t do it for the Bears. Forte also has 21 catches for 191 yards, but the Bears haven’t used him as often in the passing game as in the past. These are really good numbers through just six games, which is why he continues to also be a high selection in fantasy football leagues.

Now the Matt Forte trade rumors have come up in part because of his age, but also because of his salary and how badly the Chicago Bears have played recently. Forte is about to turn 30 (in December), which is pretty old for a running back in the NFL. He is under contract to earn just over $7 million in base salary this season, and will then become an unrestricted free agent in the NFL offseason.

What makes Forte a prime trade candidate is that a new team wouldn’t have to take on a long-term contract. It would be for only the remainder of the current season, and he would be in line for around $3.5 million for the rest of the year. That’s not an expensive price tag for a team that needs to make an improvement at the position. Several teams fit that mold, including the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and possibly even the Denver Broncos. It all comes down to whether one of those teams is willing to entice the front office in Chicago to finally pulling the trigger.

Other players that the Bears may deal before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, November 3, include Robbie Gould and Willie Young. Gould is putting together another good season as the kicker for the Bears. He has connected on 15-of-15 field goal attempts this season, including going 3-of-3 on kicks of 50 yards or longer. He had a very nice 54-yard field goal in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders, and has shown that he can perform in cold weather situations. While trades involving kickers don’t happen too often, he is a player the Bears might find expendable now.

One of the most interesting names to surface in NFL trade rumors this season is linebacker Willie Young. He is a good pass rusher who could help out a team in need on adding defense. After posting 10 sacks in the 2014 NFL season, Young has seen his role on defense diminish a bit. A good player in a 4-3 defense, Young just doesn’t fit in as a starter in the new 3-4 defense the Bears are trying to run. It means he is serving as one of the reserve outside linebackers for most games. Young has also requested a trade, though the front office has declined to deal him so far.

St. Louis Rams vs. training-087 Chicago Bears In NFL Week 10

 :coffee: .....
The Chicago Bears (3-5) and St. Louis Rams (4-4) are set to go head to head in the NFL this week in an important all-NFC matchup. Given that just one game separates these two teams, a win now could be the difference in whether or not either team makes the playoffs down the stretch. This will be the third meeting between the Rams and Bears in the last four years with the teams splitting the previous two.

The Bears head into this game coming off of a big come-from-behind victory over the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football without one of their top weapons in Matt Forte. Chicago will once again lean on rookie running back Jeremy Langford to have success in the run game as the Rams boast the fourth best pass defense in the NFL.

While the Bears are coming off of an impressive victory, :happy1: the Rams, on the other hand, just fell victim to a disappointing loss in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings (da who ). Rookie Todd Gurley was held under 100 yards for the first time all year in a game he started, and the Rams will be counting on him to bounce back as they have the worst passing offense in the NFL.

Coming into the game, Vegas really likes the Rams as they have them as early nine-point favorites. But the Rams still need to prove that they can win against lesser opponents if they want any chance of being in the playoff race. This game could end up being a lot closer than expected as the Bears have lost two of their last three by a combined six points.

Coming off of a loss, the Rams are going to be a motivated team looking for the win and have the Bears coming to town on a short week. The Rams are allowing an average of just 13 points at home this season which could make things difficult for Jay Cutler and the offense. :bs:

Prediction: Rams 24, Bears 13 :bs:

                    Bring on da   :queen2:'s

                              Best: Adam Gase’s Bears offense

 :happy1: .......
No Matt Forte, no problem. Gase continues to perform miracles for the Bears offense, which produced 37 points during Sunday’s blowout win over the Rams in St. Louis. Jay Cutler threw three touchdowns, rookie running back Jeremy Langford gained 182 total yards and scored twice, and emerging tight end Zach Miller caught two touchdowns.

 :blues brothers: .....
Players play and coaches coach, but it’s hard not to see Gase’s fingerprints all over Chicago’s offensive improvement. The Bears are running the football, receivers are being schemed open and Cutler is making all the right decisions. Quietly, the Bears have won four of their last six games.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Peyton Manning will not be on the active roster against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, as Brock Osweiler will make his first career start for the Broncos.

Read all Da :spam: here :doah:

   ........
Head coach Gary Kubiak made the announcement on Monday.

Manning is ailing with a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot and has been dealing with it for a while. It was especially bothersome after playing on the artificial turf in Denver's 27-24 loss at Indianapolis on Nov. 8, and Manning was extremely limited in his practice last week.

On Saturday, he showed up with a new ailment: sore ribs. In light of that, Kubiak said he regretted starting Manning against the Chiefs but had done so out of deference to the five-time MVP.

It's uncertain how long -- if at all -- the nagging injury would sideline Manning. He was benched for the first time in his career Sunday after throwing four interceptions in Denver's 29-13 loss to Kansas City.

Kubiak didn't replace Manning until late in the third quarter after Manning had been picked off four times, completed just 5 of 20 passes for 35 yards and posted a career-worst 0.0 passer rating.

Inside the numbers through nine games this year the MN Vikings lead the league in allowing the fewest points, lets compare the Bears to see were they are..   :coffee:

Vikings have scored 198 points and given up 154 for a net +44

Bears have  scored 199 points and given up 234 for a net of -35

Bears skyrocket in ESPN's NFL Power Rankings

The Chicago Bears used to be an afterthought.

Not anymore. training-087

 :coffee: ......
On the heels of last Sunday’s dominant win at St. Louis, the Bears moved up five spots to No. 16 in the latest edition of ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings.

Chicago occupied the 28th overall spot just two weeks ago.

Winners of four of six, the Bears (4-5) now trail Green Bay (6-3) by only two games for second place in the NFC North.

This weekend’s matchup versus Denver at Soldier Field is pivotal. If Chicago upsets the Broncos (Denver backup Brock Osweiler starts at quarterback in place of the injured Peyton Manning) and improves to .500, the Bears have a realistic shot to finish 8-8, or perhaps even 9-7.

The Bears play San Francisco (No. 31), Detroit (30), Tampa Bay (23) and Washington (20) over the final six weeks of the regular season.

Chicago also has difficult road games at Green Bay (Thanksgiving night) and Minnesota (7-2) left on the schedule, but the league is unpredictable.

No one envisioned the Lions sneaking out of Lambeau Field with a victory last week, but it happened.

And the Bears played the Vikings down to the wire three weeks ago, but lost on a last-second field goal.

The NFL is full of average teams. Except for New England or maybe Arizona, the playing field is basically level.

Embrace the mediocrity, Bears fans. The season just got interesting. :happy1:

Hey G.O.,

The reason you can't recall the last Bears/Vikes game as being close is easy. First off you didn't even watch da game. I have first hand information that you were in a sad state that day. Seems that you’re current lady friend ( the gypsy queen) had tossed you to the curb for another and you were seen outside Mike' Liquors trying to drown your sorrows. Also is it necessary to try to rally Glenn and Bobby to help you with your smack talk just because you posts are so weak. :doah:

I hear that Lee is outside of his house, hands on his railing shaking his head .... His Bears have lost to Denver and their back up QB.... I almost feel sorry for him.. The try for two points and a tie is    Its good  :doah: its not...  Now to watch a REAl game..  :toast:

Bobby, I hear he's calling the Ely Gypsy Queen that he seems to be on a first name basis with.   :coffee:
She said the Bears would win, and he now wants his money, dignity, and the deed to the ranch he bet, all back!!  :doah: :doah:

Vikes are down at the half. Lee is trying to get Borgie to borrow him some Bingo money so he can double his bet on the Pack and break even on his Bears wager...... He and the Packers are in for a surprise 2nd half...  :coffee:

Fear not my Vikings friends from the lands of the far north. :cold: Your brothas' from Da Land a Lincoln shall revenge your recent shameful loss. Yes! I spekith of none other than Da Mighty Bears. We may have once been known as the low men on da totem pole :doah: as the season started. But that was then and this is now! "Da Bears" :blues brothers: have recently been inspired or should I say rededicated. You see we have found great strength from our new team anthem. :happy1:

Tune in on :Turkey: Day as the whole nation watches "Da Bears" :blues brothers: annihilate training-087 the team from the bay.

I will now ask you to bow your heads  as to pay homage to "Da Bears". :blues brothers: We will restore the Vikes back to first place.

Remain in a bowed position  as you enjoy this inspirational Bears team anthem.
