Dorey M. caught this 32.5″ Lake Erie gravel lizard fishing deep staging areas outside the spawning flats of the western basin — slow-trolling Rapala Down De eep Husky Jerks in 26 ft and targeting active fish higher in the water column: -

snowstorms that have moved thru the area, and the fish have been found in a range of different depths and habitat.  Smaller size baits such as XL fatheads or small to medium suckers have shown the best success, and the 5 to 10 foot
depths has been the best range to start at.
