Keep the government out of your gas tank. :banghead:

Americans are hearing about the dangers of high ethanol gas to their boats, cars, and small engines and are standing up and saying NO.

 :taz:.......
The RFS has been the catalyst for the widespread growth of mid-level blends of ethanol fuel, like E15, across the US. These blends are destroying marine engines, voiding warranties and leaving anglers and boaters stranded on the water.

Senator Toomey's amendment (SA 3016), which is cosponsored by Senators Feinstein and Flake, mirrors legislation (S. 577) they previously introduced to repeal only the conventional part of the RFS mandate that affects ethanol.

Senator Flake's amendment (SA 3047) would prohibit Department of Agriculture funds from being used to support ethanol blender pumps, which would stop the fuel from becoming more widely available and risking the chance of consumers filling up unintentionally with unsafe fuel.
