Do you need Wifi or Cell Coverage to use the Navionics App?
From a friend. Just make sure to download the area you are fishing or boating before you leave your coverage area.

I ALWAYS get this question, so now I'll answer it for you. You DO NOT have to have wifi or cell service for the Navionics app to show you where you are. This is a real screenshot from the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
