Morning.  Got the day off so will try to accomplish something, not sure what...   lol  We had 1.5" of rain on Sat.  I mowed yesterday as we have a slight chance of more today.  Cloudy and windy here today.

Rain just won't quit down here; I now have 2.35" in my gauge, and still raining. Had a 20 mn monsoon a bit ago. Standing water in backyard and street is flooded out front....

Morning all.  Man I could have slept longer today.  I was sound asleep when the alarm clock went off.  This is my last day of work until the last Fri in July when I have to show up for my real last day to make it official.  Maybe I will sleep late tomorrow.

Morning from tropical Swampville. 64* and already gag-me humidity. Got hammered with the rain again yday, 2 1/4" in my rain gauge. Everything is soggy and dripping yet. Morjits are hyping next four days as killer dewpoints  and heat indices. O joy. Gonna head out this am for groceries, then over to Mom's to get her groceries. Try to get as much done today before the inferno hits....have a good one guys.

Summer heat returns with a gusto for Friday -  temperatures climb into the mid 90s, and when coupled with oppressive humidities, heat indices will be a dangerous 105  to 110 degrees!

The warmth starts Thursday, continues into Saturday, but Friday is shaping up to be the hottest day.

Plan now for heat related stresses. Avoid exposure and adjust outdoor plans to avoid  peak heating.

What: afternoon heat indices 105-110 F
Where: entire area
Timing: peak heat 1 to 7 pm
Impacts: dangerous heat! Heat related illnesses can occur in as little as 30 minutes. Children, pets and the elderly are especially susceptible to the heat
ACTION: avoid prolonged exposure to the heat - postpone or reschedule outdoor activities. Stay hydrated and stay indoors.

Mornin boys, had 62* when I went for my boat ride. Sure was pretty full  going down  had I few clouds so couldn't see the sunrise . We could use a little rain up here again, slight chance this weekend, unless of course glenn comes up.
