Mornin all, we had 50* when I headed for the boat & I'm seein low 70's for the high. Kept 3 this mornin & got 1 eye last night so I've got a few :fish2: to clean. :happy1: :cool: Threw 'em in the live box so it might not be right away or even today. : :scratch: Think we're gonna take a trip to the landfill up on the other end of the lake while it's safe to go up there. ;) :laugh: :laugh: 'Bout it for now, hopin your Monday's a good 1!!

Mornin' gang! 53 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-70's. Some rain moving in tonite sounds like.  Got the ram lamb loaded up about mid-morning yesterday for the guy from Chatfield. As usual he gave us something kinda neat for the use of the ram. We each got a pair of hand-knitted mittens he'd made from natural-colored Cheviot wool. I mowed lawn after that while listening to the Vikings on the radio then came in to watch them get beat before heading to the car club picnic. This retirement thing looks better all the time. Eat supper at 5 p.m.? What's up with that? Lucky if I get a chance to sit down long enough to eat before 9 o'clock! At least no one keeled over and got hauled off. Altho the one poor gal's Alzheimer's was defintely worse. She was pretty good the last outing. Sad to see.

Agreed LPS, mowed maybe 3 times all summer? yesterday was the second time in 5 days,I use my pup's over sized chuck-it ball as a grass gauage the ball stands about 2" tall,so when I can't see the ball out in the back 40 it's time,more rain tonight it looks like.

Just saw on the weather at noon that we should have rain by 3 today.  I have 2/3 of the lawn mowed.  Short nap and then hit the rest of it.  Good thing to use as a gauge Snow.  Real windy here too. From the south.

Caught 3 saugers that will go good with eggs tomorrow morning.  JB may have been right when he said no rain.  Still not a drop.  Some dark clouds went over and the wind came up a few times but no rain.

Mornin boys, we had 55* ~ 5:30 & we're headed towards the upper 60's. We had  HH out in the drive yday with a little :campfire: as there wasn't much wind for a change.. It started to sprinkle here a bit after 6 last night just as I was thinkin about goin  :fishing:. Kept it up most of the night too but I could only find .1" in the gauge. Got my :fish2: cleaned & made the run up to the dump yday AM too. Not sure what's on tap for today :scratch:, have a good 1.

Mornin peoples 60 here at the moment.  Timing has been bad all summer to spray a few weeds in the back yard with it being to hot and the pooches around but Thursday they finally got sprayed and it's good to see the creeping Charlie and some clover is shriveled up. Think I over did it over the weekend might have a hernia,  so I gets to go see Dr fondler to find out.. Well anywho, see ya!!

Rain gauge says .90" from last night. Means lawn will need to get cut again soon which is OK. Headed to New York Mills this morning to pick up a newer snowmobile. My RMK is going to the Iron Range tomorrow because it's sold. Have a great day all, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

holy mackeral......had dang near 2 inches of rain in the gauge.....well it was one line below the 2 inch mark!!!!!!! :evil: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

morning fellers........... did 7 qts of stewed tomatoes yesterday......today mater juice is in the picture' took out some norderns to smoke last nite. gonna do my brothers brine recipe and FINALLY use the electric smoker my granddaughter gave me!!!!!!!! look out boys!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

also cooked up the turkey carcass last night ...........3 ice cream pails..........not full but just right portions!!!!! :happy1:
