Mornin guys, 17 here & 24 is 'sposed to be the high. Getting some light snow too & it looks like we got ~.5" overnight. Roads down around the metro aren't looking very good so we're going to wait until tomorrow to head home. So, we'll pack the car & make sure everything is buttoned up today & hit the road pretty early tomorrow. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Morning boys.  Yup snowing again.  I like plowing but I get so tired of shoveling the deck and steps.  BUT it is good exercise right?  I will go with that.  The wife left early for a meeting in TRF.  Hope they get there and back ok.  SO won't see her until tonight and the last thing she said is that I have spent my allotment for the month.  lolol  I said I do need one cable so we can use the better monitor and it will only cost $14.  She said well ok, just that though.  She's the best.   :sleazy:  Good luck JB.  Glenn and anyone else out there hunting too.

Need to find out if my tire guy can swap out the michiens radials back to the AT3s which are more aggressive. Plow the driveway and make a hide run before it gets cold tomorrow. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime with temps falling this afternoon. Another 1/2" of snow so brings the total to somewhere close to 6". Blowing it around so the drive to Albert's Leaf for the wife's appt. this afternoon should be entertaining. Had to punt on bringing the ewes home from the other pasture this a.m. Snow too deep at the neighbor's by the buildings & he wasn't  around. Wait till next week when it's warmer he said. Fine by me. Enough on my plate right now. Chores there are a piece of cake compared to at home anyway.

Morning boys.  It was 14 when the wife got up around 5 and is now down to 6 here.  Maybe the ground will finally freeze up.  And yes I get to do some exercise again today.  We got another 2" at least last night.  I have a buddy that raises hogs every year and has an extra few he is trying to sell so I took a half.  Won't be butchered until after Thanksgiving.  If you want one JB I will give you his number.  Have a nice trip Gunner.  Hope the road are good.  You guys stay warm today.

Going to make one trip around the garages to be sure all of the freezables are in the house, mainly beer. Move the small fridge back downstairs and stay warm for the next two days. Later... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys. 11 here and not snowing yet. Shocking. The daughter and grandson came up last night. Got here about midnight. She wanted to sleep in and since I got a deer last night I did too. The lake is getting slush on it. We get more cold nights and it could maybe freeze up. I will need to load the wood shed today before we go out hunting. That will be the first thing on the list. Well you boys have a good one.

Dang a half a hog, good eats lps. Happy as all heck for ya jb, nice deer and taking some time off from work paid in several different ways. The kid and I were gonna go chasing Roosters in the morning but that wind is gonna suck, soo just might change oil in the pick em up and add some some air to the tires since my low air light came on from this wimpy cold front. Anywho the basement is stocked with wood and thinking a nice rip roarer tonight should feel good.  See ya!!!

Morning boys. 9 here and I thought it was supposed to get up into the 20s today.  The wind is whipping out of the NW. I am kinda sheltered where I am at this morning. Wife not so much. Wind be blowing right into the blind for her. Hopefully the heater helps her some. Would sure like it if she could get a deer. Well you boys have a good one.

Got my garage projects done plus put up window treatments on 7 windows and the front door yesterday. Felt so good I had to have a couple of them freezeable cans of beverages before supper. Wife asked what the deal was having beer at 4:00 instead of 5:00. I told the clock above the kitchen sink said 5:05. She forgot to turn it back two weeks ago. I'm not touching it. Have a great day all, later... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin boys, back in the southland today. It's 19 here & might get to 21. Left the lake ~ 6:45, we're back here by ~ 2:30 & that's with 4 pit stops. The roads were surprisingly good, even CR 35 up there. We found a rather large traffic snag at Rogers though & that cost us about 15 minutes. Haven't came home that way in a long time but did go up that way & it went surprisingly well so........... Some running to do, then it'll be time for some football. Have a great day!!

Morning boys.  It is 9 and windy here.  The river is mostly skimmed over.  Some open water but not much.  Gonna work inside on my duct work overhaul today.  Been replacing that flexible stuff with tin.  No big hurry though.  Need to think of something fun to cook today.  Have fun with the grandkids JB.  So cool they like to spend time with you.
