26 degrees here in International Falls today. Looks like 40 ish again later. I will get some groceries today and finish my latest book.

Glenn best wishes for mom. Although what she has to do isn't fun or good, it does beat the alternative.

Stay safe everybody.

it would still be a "wheeled" unit I would think, but worth asking I guess...

Got garage window trim up, workbenches and toolboxes back in place yesterday. Slowly getting done. Buddy of mine cut his welding bench in half and gave one end of it. It's 3'x4' and weights about 300 pounds, hope the hoist can lift it out of the truck.  Better run to town to get my Valintine a card and a box of chocolate. I get her the good chocolate because I usually eat 3/4 of it. Have a great day all, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Tailgate down, reverse at 20 mph, hit the brakes. Welding tables can be self unloading.   ;) Wrap a chain around it and drag it in the garage with your lawn tractor.     :smoking:

Mornin' comrades! 38 at choretime heading for a high in the lower 40's. Supposed to be a quarter to half inch of rain falling today starting mid to late morning. No newbies overnite & so far everyone appears healthy. Lotsa other stuff on the agenda for today. Need to meet copy deadlines first, then garner some brownie points for Valentine's Day by getting a few things. After that I have to take Poppy to the vet to get spayed. I was hoping we could wait until the first heat cycle but the conventional wisdom has changed on that, especially with smaller breeds. Seems there is a lower risk for cancerous mammary tumors & after consulting the breeder & other veterinarian friends, we decided to go ahead with it. The other positives are there's no mess to clean up after every 6 months and of course no risk of unwanted puppies. Hope she comes out of it in good shape. No reason to think she won't but we've become really attached to her. Right now she's sleeping on my foot after she did morning chores and ate her breakfast.

Oh im. So down!!!, alls these sleds have the best shocks and suspension on the planet, dont see how a different track will make such a huge difference, my understand is if i just put skies on the front its ok.

Nope. Used to be that way, but the DNR changed it. Has to come from the factory with skis on it.

Sleds go faster and slide over the snow.  Tracked wheelers dig in and rut the heck out of the trails.  Usually get stuck a time or two also and then really ruin the trail.

Yup. I think on the lake they should be able to run on the trail. The bombers that can run the trails tear the chit out of them. Or drive 10 feet away from the stakes and then you are off of the trail. Where is the cut off.

Morning boys. 14 here and really windy. All the warmer it will be today too. Seen a few snow flakes flying last night, but didn't add up to anything. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

mornin all, 14  and 17 here, depending on where ya look..   that's about the high today too..  as predicted the wind is doing it's thing...  could hear it most of the night...   resupply run can wait until tomorrow I'm thinking!!!   a good portion of the schools are closed with elearning day or 2 hours late...  we did get some snow but not sure how much...  it was the rain prior to that that's causing most of the issues along with the wind....  have a safe day all!!

Morning boys.  Cold and windy here.  12 now.  I told the wife she better call in and stay home due to the at least 10" drift by our steps.  LOL   So not a lot of snow here.  Good day to stay in and warm.  Don't know if we had rain last night after dark or not.  Was kind of misty but that may be all.  Will try to think of what to make for supper.  Well you all be careful out there.  They are showing all of the closed roads in the central part of the state now.

Good thing I put the plow on the truck last night. Can still see the grass in the back yard that showed up a couple days ago. Looks like my first project today is to take the plow off. Started to put things back after the sheeting project in the garage. Here's a picture of the finished project and one with some of the "stuff" put back. More coffee, later..... :happy1: :happy1:
