It only snowed another 1/2" last night after I plowed yesterday. I'll have to clean up the drive and yard again with the truck and then move on to the tractor to widen out driveway and clean up around house. Should keep me busy for a couple of hours. Plenty of time, Napcar doesn't start until 2:30. Later.....

another trip to the big city tomorrow morning for Sue to see the surgeon. i guess the objective is to lay out a game plan moving forward? hope they got her on the surgery schedule. getting old!!!!!

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 20's. 1.5" of snow at the ranch melted out to .20" of liquid equivalent precip. Froze up again over nite but when it thaws, oh what a sloppy mess it'll be. Some flurries this a.m. to add insult to injury. Penned up another set of twins out of one ewe I'd been waiting on in the wee hours of the morning. All was well there, no muss no fuss so far anyway. Got all the birds feeders restocked yesterday. Not a lot of anything planned so far today. Wind is kinda raw so staying inside & watching some hoops sounds like a winner. Debating whether or not to fire up the grill later.  Can always use more well-seared leftovers.

Morning boys. -12 here this morning and heading for 20s today. I got the snow all cleaned up after we came in from fishing yesterday afternoon. Fishing was pretty slow yesterday. But still fun. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Oh ya.  We baked a chicken in a cast iron pan yesterday and it turned out fantastic.  So the wife is in the bathroom getting ready for work and heard a dog drinking.  It kept going and here Glenn's dogs brother is so big he just stood up on the counter and cleaned it out.  Glad she told me or I would have thought she cleaned it.

OK maybe i'll change my mind regarding my last post about not wanting to go down the cities this morning. it was 2 weeks ago today they took the fluids from Sue's hip. they said it take 2 weeks to determine if the culture grows. WELL....she got that test results via MyChart.........NO GROWTH!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear the great news glenn. Was just finishing up with the plow truck yesterday when the second oldest called and asked if I'd like to go for a short run on the snowmobiles. Good thing, two minutes before he showed up I broke a shear pin on the fan for the blower cleaning up in front of the garage. Hadn't been blowing snow for more than five minutes. So that's first on the project list for today. After that who knows, later......

Mornin' comrades! 20 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-20's. Some sunshine so far. That makes everything a little happier. Saw that on the news last nite about the people drowning del. Nothing good about that. Glad to hear Smurfette continues to head down the road to recovery. Sent Mrs. Cheviot back to work today for at least a partial day anyway. The last twins born the other day are both doing well. Took inventory yesterday to see how many more ewes might be bred other than the one for sure. Appears two others besides that one, and they're just starting to show some early indications. Prolly won't be for several weeks yet on those so my trips to the barn in the middle of the night are over for the time being. Still take Poppy out but that usually doesn't take long.

Just picked up a couple of corned beefs.  All they had was points but I found a couple of big one.  AND they had Ambassador hot dogs today.  I got the pkg of beef ones.  They had both kinds.

I see there are some new ice cream flavors coming out.  One is Hidden Valley Ranch Ice Cream....????  Can't even imagine what that would be like even though I like each separately.
